What you describe is all part of the long-in-duration back-of-the-line existing legal process.
Which is not the same thing as "expediting" them back through "a legal process".
Oh BS CJ, there many hardworking mexicans here doing skilled labor jobs because there is a shortage of skilled American labor to do those jobs. Many have been living here for many years and are law abiding. I would welcome them back if they are documented tax paying citizens. The culture in the past was to come here to the states and start a new life and we, this country, our government, allowed that to happen without consequence . Had been that way for a hundred years or more. Along with that good group are also some undesirables, Those are the ones we don’t want let back in, the gang bangers and drug dealers, the rapist, the thieves they need to stay out but there are thousands of hard working law abiding mexicans I would be proud to call a neighbor.
So, will CRuz change our existing immigration laws, which allows folks to apply to come here LEGALLY (as Trump supports), by EO?
When Cruz says they can’t come back, he means they can’t come back. I agree. If someone has to be deported, they should never be allowed back in.
I’m glad you have the patience to reply to them. I like to debate policy-— there’s no fun for me in the 3rd grade stuff.
He wasn't unless Trump has said something different lately from what he said before,
They need your paycheck also.
Ted finally used the word deport but not in the context of him ever doing it. LOL!
LOL!
Seems like CRuz would be changing our existing laws.
How would CRuz refuse to let folks apply to immigrate, LEGALLY?
.
By EO?
To believe that mass employer of illegals is going to do anything about the way this country is being turned into a Third Whirled hellhole just mystifies me.
Ted’s trying to outdo Trump but Ted also said he wasn’t banning all Muslims from America.

Same as it ever was.
Good point. :-)
Do we have existing immigration laws that say ‘once you’ve been deported, you may NEVER apply to return LEGALLY’?
I wonder if this includes the kids Ted was giving out teddy bears to?
"Ted Cruz on immigration: "I oppose legalization...Today, tomorrow, forever."
December 21, 2015 by Allahpundit
A leftover from this weekend that I want to note for archival purposes, in case he wins the nomination and then starts claiming next summer he never said he was absolutely opposed to legalizing illegals in all circumstances. This sounds pretty absolute, no?
Isn't this the same Ted Cruz who said a month ago that we'll have a "conversation" about legalizing people once the border is secured?
...
When asked Friday if that memo was a liability in the general election, Cruz was blunt.
"My position is very simple. I oppose amnesty. I oppose citizenship. I oppose legalization...Today, tomorrow, forever. I believe in the rule of law." ...

So back in November wasn't the same "today, tomorrow," or "forever" Ted. Right?
What Trump said to Dana Bash, just this last year, on CNN:
I would get people out and then have an expedited way of getting them back into the country so they can be legalâ¦. A lot of these people are helping us ⦠and sometimes itâs jobs a citizen of the United States doesnât want to do. I want to move âem out, and weâre going to move âem back in and let them be legal.
Expedited seems unfair to people who have tried to do this legally and correctly.
Trump will counterpunch and the caped Cruzettes will kick, scream and whine.
Rally tonight, by the way!
