I definitely got a lot more "Merry Christmases" this year. Even in the workplace, where just a year ago, it was practically forbidden. Then on Christmas Day itself, I took a walk through my neighborhood with my dog and several neighbors said "Merry Christmas."

I think not only has Trump made it safe to acknowledge Christmas but Trump supporters have been going out of their way to wish others "Merry Christmas" - almost like exchanging a code among themselves.

Exactly right. It is like a code amongst Christians. It’s like days of yore when the code sign of a fish meant you were Christian. Saying Merry Christmas says we are sick of PC, sick of relegating Christianity to substatus, and between the lines, for many of us, we are stating we are Trump supporters, all good things.
