I rarely catch Rush but I was bebopping down the road in the car today when I heard these words and nearly drove right off the road. He called out the Republican party directly. I was stunned. Glad to hear it, but stunned.

The USA is crying out for a Conservative Party if someone would just start it. Hey Rush — how about making it your life’s work to create a genuine powerhouse Conservative Party and put your money where your mouth is to support it? You can’t take it with you when you die.

Not a chance. The mouth is all talk and no action. The good he could do if he would use his bully pulpit and money and connections to create a Conservative Party.

EEK, what am I saying? The commies and UN have set the state for the destruction of America, capitalism, prosperity and freedom. There is nothing Rush Limbaugh or anyone else can do to stop this American decline and fall. I take it back. At this point a strong Conservative Party would just give us a false hope that we can stop the American decline and fall. In truth, nothing can stop it.

Enjoy your golfing Rush. Nothing you can do will matter anyway so just hang on and enjoy the ride.

it’s true, with “leaders” like John Boehner, Mitch McConnel, Paul Ryan, John McLame etc, the GOP is little more than obammy’s butt boy.Time to leave the GOP and start a real conservative party.
F-em, tired of ALWAYS capitulation.
Hey GOP “leaders”, climb out of obammy rear end there ya losers.
Oh, nooo, obammy is a negro. We can’t take any stand against his sorry ass cause we may lose the black vote that the GOP does not nor ever will have.
F-ing idiots.

I've stayed registered as a Republican so as to have a voice in the primaries though not the presidential as PA's primary is so late we have no say.

I've been played one time too many.

Big deal.

For being the smartest guy in conservatism, it took him, what, only fifteen years to catch up to caller “Karen From Whitefish, Montana”? As I have said before, she posited the very same conclusion and he ripped into her with a passion of vengeance I’ve never heard before or since on his program. (Full disclosure, for the past few years I listen only a couple of hours a year to him)

If Rush really believes this as betrayal worthy of eradication, he will lend his weight to both the demise of the GOP *and* an effort to build an alternative.

I’m not holding my breath, as his billion dollar empire hangs in the balance.

It’s because the GOPe are guided by, well Kasichs daughter who tells him to play nice with Dems, oh, and Paul Ryan who wants compromise...YUCK

The Republican Party is a party of girlie men who embrace PC and avoid conflict.
