Donald Trump on Wednesday defended his immigration proposal after being pressed repeatedly for details on how exactly he would deport millions of illegal immigrants, saying it was doable and "cheap."
"We're going to have a deportation force, and you're going to do it humanely," Trump told MSNBC's "Morning Joe" in an exclusive interview, arguing that he would deport people with a policy similar to the one former President Dwight Eisenhower used to deport 1.5 million by the busload, dropping the immigrants off at remote parts of the border.
-snip-
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush pushed hard against Trump's proposals in Tuesday's fourth Republican presidential debate, saying, "12 million illegal immigrants - to send them back 500,000 a month is just not possible, and it's not embracing American values and it would tear communities apart."

Rush pointed out today that Harry Truman deported oner twice as many as did Ike. Bet you didn't know that.
From 1920 until 1969 The US had zero legal immigration, did you know that?
As opposed to you making it sound impossible.
months
You misspelled years.
No I didn't, because it isn't true.
Pssst ...HINT: ...we like people that can make smart decisions......... Brought to you by the greatest country in the World..Pick wisely.....
LMAO....every problem is complex...that's why liberals like you cant say YES or NO after studying "any" problem...Hand-wringers sit in the back of the bus but are proud that they were there when others made the right decisions..... Think about it...a Non-Decision "IS" a decision!...and we know how alot of those have turned out...
Argue with Rush he is the one quoting that. I know we at least had refugee's and Nazi Scientists come in but they did not come under immigration law.
Doesn't really matter because you are an amnesty pimp of the paid kind.
And why people like you don't bother studying the problem to begin with. I assume it's because it makes your head hurt.
LOL .... I could live with that.
:-)
I like the body bag idea...
At the Wall, we need M-4s.....
Whatever happens you can bank on this....it's gonna get nasty and it is going to make for great viewing.
Nonsense. Are you saying Obama has done so for every Illegal he has sent back?
Even IF we choose to do so, there is nothing saying they need to be in the country while they await their case to be heard.
Also, I'm betting most will opt to just leave with what they have rather than risk losing it to court costs/fines.
Why are you? Arizona had a required E-Verify system in place for years, it did little. As soon SB1070 was passed and Illegals knew police would start asking for proof of residency, they fled the state by the tens of thousands.
Did you know that California and Texas, two states with the largest illegal populations, don't require E-Verify. It's a state decision. Maybe it needs to be a federal one? And the crackdown on employers has to come from the federal government as well. I still think that would be easier and more effective than trying to round up millions of individuals.
I just provided a fact that shows how impotent the program is and you think the answer is to make it mandatory in more places.
The feds already require employers to collect SS numbers which are sent upstream. The problem numbers get kicked back and the employer has to give the employee time to rectify the discrepancy. The result is the Illegal walking down the street and starting the process over at a new place. E-Verify allows that exact process to continue.
