“unabashedly conservative of the entire republican voter base.”

As a poster pointed out lately, we do not have the luxury anymore of the conservative/liberal debate. If immigration is not stopped in the next 18 months, it is ALL OVER. There will NEVER, EVER be a conservative who will ever win the presidency.

One of the amazing things about people (on this site) who hate Trump and accuse him of being a liberal is the fact that the people (MSM, RINOs) who hate him most are liberals.

“...never ran for office before or even considered it...”

Which of the elected professional Republicans do you admire?

“You can have your candidate, but don’t denigrate me or mine, or like Trump, I will come right back at you.”

Because you denigrated mine, did you not?

You were easy to spot — trying to evince immense concern over an issue when you would still not support Trump if the issue did not exist. Psychologists call that “playing the blemish” game.

I’ve got no quarrel with someone who up front says, “I like Cruz”.

I think you place entirely too much emphasis on Trump and the Immigration problems.

The required immigration law is already on the books and has been throughout Obama’s terms.

Any conservative can repair what Obama has done and they will when they roll back his executive orders, and regain control over ICE so that local authorities can round up illegals for deportation or incarceration as they once did prior to Obama.

If that is the only reason, (and it is) that you Trumpsters can point out as a qualifier for Trump to be president, you are making a mistake.

Lastly, you are from Louisiana....no?

More than any other state that I am politically astute on, Louisiana takes the prize for electing liars, party switchers, and outright criminals.

In fact you are re-electing 80% of the idiots who have destroyed the budget year after year in Louisiana. I lived there during the Edwin Edwards admin. I stay up to date as I still have kids there. I see Jim Fannin is still there, only now he’s a republican...lololol...

I’m just pointing out to you that politics is largely a game of public manipulation by very talented media types and image consultants..

Trump has the best. Nothing you see is a accident.

But you, over and above all others, should be able to discern that, and for some reason you can’t.

Balkanization of the US, is certainly a oncoming freight train of a problem, but it can be dealt with and through existing law. Same with the sanctuary cities.

What requires a special person is the attempt to repair a tattered constitution without which we have nothing.

I think that while we have numerous important issues to deal with, the overarching one is a damaged Constitution and it’s legal authorities charged to protect it, and not destroy it.

How do you think trump will do on SCOTUS picks?

How about the authorities that Obama has seized from the legislature? Do you think trump will refuse to use them out of principle?

What are Trumps principles?

Don't pat yourself on the back....too hard, you did not ask me who I support, and frankly since the thread is about trump, my candidate is not the issue here.

But a quick look at my posting history will tell you that I have been a Cruz supporter since before he announced.

I don't hate trump at all, but I'm not going to pussy foot around at this stage of the race. I personally dislike a number of candidates, but not trump. I no reason to dislike him as there is no political history to be critical of.

For the same reasons, I would be unlikely to support him at all. I don't know what Trump will do. His one liners and repetitive campaign speeches notwithstanding..

That poster, who ever it is, could not be more wrong.
