George Will said on "Special Report" tonight that after Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz, Chris Christie was the big winner at the third GOP debate.
Will said that Christie is a great natural political talent, with a forceful presence.
"You can imagine him on the stage with Hillary Clinton," Will asserted.
"And he might have something that appeals to 'Trumpkins' around the country, without being quite unhinged."
Charles Krauthammer remarked that he loves the idea of Christie being "Trump Lite."
"You like Trump, but you want a polite version? Go to Christie," Krauthammer said. "It could be a campaign slogan."

Trump isn’t unhinged. Sounds like the good doctor (sarc) hasn’t watched Trump’s rallies. They are excited and enthusiastic, but not unhinged. I used to like the Kraut, but not any more.

People don’t understand those from NY and NJ - they are brash. Same with LePaige in Maine - my dad lived in NY for 38 years - he was brash too - that’s the way they are. Most I met there were the same way, but most are really nice people. You just have to understand them. If you can’t handle hearing the truth, then don’t ask their opinion. LOL
