Registered Republican Voters Pick Trump as the Winner and Bush as the Loser of Wednesday Night’s Debate

One America News Network, “OAN”, a credible source for 24/7 national and international news, announces its post-debate poll results taken immediately after Wednesday night’s GOP Debate in Boulder, Colorado.

New York real estate mogul Donald Trump remains in first place with 32.7 percent.

Dr. Ben Carson trails Trump by just over 10 points, landing in second with 22.6 percent.

Rounding out the top three is Senator Marco Rubio at 14.5 percent.

As for the winners and losers in Wednesday night’s debate, over 1,500 registered Republicans were asked, “Who do you think won the debate?”

Republicans across the United States pick Donald Trump as the winner with 26.7 percent of the vote followed by Senator Marco Rubio, taking second place, at 21.1 percent. Senator Ted Cruz finishes in third place with 17.3 percent of the vote.

When asked, “Who to you think lost the debate?” polled voters put former Governor Jeb Bush on top with 26.2 percent of the vote, closely followed by Senator Rand Paul at 24.2%. John Kasich received 15.0 percent of the responses.

I’m starting to pull slightly away from Trump. While I do believe he can put the right people in place to lead to a recovery I have yet to hear anything other than platitudes. Broadcast a thorough plan to recovery or talk about it.

Trump has talked about some of his policies and details more than anyone out there...You need a different excuse...

Horrible start to the debate! Disrespected Mr. Trump! Mr. Trump has been running a fantastic campaign! I listen to his speeches that are recorded and see the crowds! He will win. He should have not told the Marxist media what it would take for him to exit, cause they are manufacturing the polls to dishearten him. Recent polls are incoming - psyops only! Trust the crowds! Trust the crowds! Election Day is the only real poll!

Anyone who actually watched the debate would have voted for Cruz.

Trump was asked about his tax plan and even after they tried to compare Trump to a cartoon character, he covered his plan pretty well...

Kasich then verbally sucker punched Trump and then Trump 'lit him up'...With facts as well...We probably won't hear from Kasich again...

Trump was not asked any other questions that had anything to do with the Presidency...

Trump maybe didn't pull ahead further with those couple of minutes of speaking but he certainly didn't lose anything...

There wasn't a single winner...There wasn't even a debate...

Cruz had one big moment when he attacked the moderators questions. The crowd was with him and showed it.
Trump opened that question up in responding to the first question of the night when he was treated to disgusting, infantile insults like being accused of being a Comic Book character and flying off the podium by flapping his wings. I have NEVER seen such disgustingly inept and totally unacceptable behavior! Trump handled it smoothly, did not lose his temper, but appeared very presidential in his no nonsense response where he had the higher card and trumped the attack.
His other strongest point was in his closing statement when he claimed to have lowered the time of the debate. He left the moderator blubbering and practically speechless, finally managing a feeble denial. I was ecstatic!
1.Trump 2 Cruz Rubio didn’t show me anything but a politician topolitician squabble....besides a kindergarten kid could whip Bush.

Nothing against Trump but I fail to see how anyone could have thought anyone but Cruz or maybe Rubio won that debate.

_____________________________________________

There is one huge reason why people would pick Trump. He is not a slave to his donors. Cruz and Rubio while very interesting are still politicians. It would be nice to see who are his donors in the Cruz/Rubio grid. Knowing that I would be more open to those two, but you notice they are not very eager to do that.

I’ve responded to this numerous times now. I am unfamiliar with OAN - just asking a question.

What happened to Carson in this debate? Takin’ a nap?

He may still be there leaning against the podium...

I forgot Trump was there last night. He had a patakiesque gravitas on the stage.

Beg to differ. Cruz had one big point. Trump had at least two. More subtle and not as brusque as usual, but well handled rebuttals and very presidential. He showed his CLASS!

What is telling to me is that in all the after polls, nobody is talking about the good Doctor. I expect his so called lead in Iowa to evaporate and people to realize that his so called lead nationwide never even existed.

Hopefully, Cruz finally got some attention.

GO TRUMP/CRUZ

And the moderator outright lied when he said Trump was wrong...Rubio cornered the same guy about a lie he told about Rubio...

One of Cruz’ big donors is Club for Growth.

Don’t be too impatient Jarhead. Remember that you don’t and can’t storm the beaches until you have enough landing craft.
Trump is building his Flotilla. Election day is a long way away. Hang in there, please.

Trump is as much a slave to his largest donor as the rest of them. The only difference is that Trumps largest donor has the same name and actually brags in public about his success at buying politicians to do his bidding.

I am a Trump supporter, but Rubio calling Hillary a liar about Benghazi was a good moment for him

The moderators were totally disgusting. I have never seen such a band of nit-wits. Hopefully, the performance they gave in their attempt to destroy the Republicans will be retained by some of the “undecided.”

The Club, which is one of the most conservative spending groups in elections, is helping raise money for four presidential candidates; Cruz, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, and Sens. Marco Rubio and Rand Paul, whose campaign said was invited to the conference.

One potential area of friction: The Republican front-runner, Donald Trump, who Cruz has embraced even though the Club has unveiled a $1 million campaign to tear him down.

Here

At some point in time, this club for growth is going to expect Cruz to go nuclear on Trump...Hope it doesn't ruin a VP spot for Cruz...

If you are really afraid for the republic, why on earth would you support RINOs like Rubio and Fiorina?
I worked hard to get Rubio elected as did many Tea Partiers and the first thing he did was throw in with the Democrats on the Amnesty of the eight. Exactly OPPOSITE of what he campaigned on. He is the last hope behind Bush for the RINO Establishment and is thumbing his nose at the Florida voters who put him in Washington. He is slick tongued consummate politician, but one time someone is snakebit, he doesn’t go through the high grass without his boots on. I wouldn’t trust Rubio as far as I could throw him. Fiorina is a loser, period.
