The first five comments were reasonable.

Dr. Carson puts downs ObamaCARE, Islamic terrorism,
and taking of arms from a free people.

I think many people (especially blue dog democrats) are sick of political correctness - the outsider candidates that say what many think are the ones doing well for the GOP. The traditional Republicrats are not inspiring anyone.

The prison comment was stupid. The rest were OK. Although I’m skeptical about how much difference Jews having guns would have made. Because human nature being what it is, the Nazis would have ordered them to turn them over and most would have complied. Just like most got on the trains believing they were just being “relocated”.

I like Carson a whole heck of a lot better than Trump, although I don’t believe that either one of them should be president because they simply don’t have any government experience and neither one of them has spent much time trying to learn...Trump bailed on his NYC mayoral run because he realized he simply wasn’t going to sail into victory and might have to fight/pay for it and in any case didn’t know what would be involved in the first place.

I love most of Carson’s positions and I actually don’t think his words on Islam would bother anybody except the members of CAIR, who to my knowledge are not running the USA (yet).

If you want to read a scary book, read “Submission” by the French writer Michel Houellebecq. It has a few passages there are a little bit too sexually graphic for most of the readers of FR, but his depiction of the transition of France from a modern secular state to a petro-dollar funded Islamic state is way too accurate.

There’s a Senate seat with Carson’s name on it. Why is he wasting our time and his running for POTUS?

“Think Warsaw!”

That happened after the Jews knew what was in store for them. But at the time they were rounded up, they mostly refused to believe it. Normalcy bias in action.

So, go vote for the RINO who has government experience. That has worked out so well for us, hasn’t it? Trump will do just fine without your vote.

People call CARSON a conservative Christian, but his own statements say otherwise. CARSON’s stand on social issues is disturbing.

BEN CARSON - ON SOCIAL ISSUES
Carson has expressed support for same-sex civil unions, and following the Supreme Court’s ruling legalizing gay marriage in all 50 states, he conceded the fight was over by declaring the ruling the “law of the land.” (Newsmax)

Despite maintaining a strong pro-life record, in a 1992 interview, Dr. Carson said that while he does not perform abortions, he personally referred women seeking abortions to other doctors. In the same interview, he said that he “would never advocate it’s illegal for a person to get an abortion.” (Baltimore Sun)

Dr. Carson co-authored a medical research paper in 1992 where he outlined his support for the use of aborted baby organs for research purposes. Carson defended his past statements, saying, “To not use the tissue that is in a tissue bank, regardless of where it comes from, would be foolish. Why would anybody not do that?”

Numerous conservatives have expressed that by providing the demand that abortion providers will supply the market and that participating in this practice is being complicit. (Life Site News)

As revelations came to light about Dr. Carson referring the mothers of unborn children with potential birth defects to abortionists, his campaign defended the practice. A campaign spokesman said, “he [Carson] believes in quality medical care, No. 1, and secondly, he believes in people making their own decisions based on facts and information.” Pressed on whether Carson stands by his decision to do so, the same spokesman said yes. The statement is particularly troubling given that pro-abortion proponents use similar language regarding a decision between the patient and their doctor, but not mentioning the life of the child. (Politico)

Since news surfaced of a 1992 research paper co-authored by Dr. Carson that included the use of fetal tissue, Caron’s stance on abortion has come under immense scrutiny and his defense of his previous medical decisions has been troubling to many in the pro-life movement. When asked if Carson stands by his past decision to refer patients to abortion doctors, Carson’s Communications Director said “He believes in quality medical care, No. 1, and secondly, he believes in people making their own decisions based on facts and information.”Additionally, the spokesman went on to say that Carson believes that you can’t stop abortion by making it illegal. The spokesman told Politico, “he [Carson] has always believed that the battle over abortion had to be waged in the hearts and minds of Americans, that you cannot legislate morality. But he also believes we’re winning the debate.” (Politico)

In the 1990s, Carson was a board member of the Baltimore Charitable Foundation which gave $200,000 in grants to Planned Parenthood. When confronted with this fact, and asked if Carson knew about the grants a spokesman said, “it doesn’t really matter.” (Politico)

When asked if he would support abortion in the case of incest or rape, Dr. Carson said, “I would hope that they would very quickly avail themselves of the emergency room, and in the emergency room, they have the ability to administer RU-486 and other possibilities before you have a developing fetus.” RU-486 is an abortifacient that kills a fertilized egg by artificially denying it the ability to attach to the uterine wall. Using Dr. Carson’s own standard of life beginning at conception, this would then constitute murder. (Politico)

During the campaign Dr. Carson has struggled to define when he believes life begins. He told ABC News that life begins “when the heart starts beating” but later clarified that he meant conception. (Politico)

BEN CARSON - ON IMMIGRATION
Carson in his books has staked out a hard line on immigration. Carson has called for both the border to be secured and strict interior enforcement measures.]

Carson has opposed illegal immigration and called for a system to ensure only legal immigrants are hired.

However, in more recent rhetoric Carson has championed a national guest-worker program as a way for immigrants to be granted citizenship and favored a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants.

In the late summer of 2015, Carson came out against rigorous enforcement of current deportation laws.

Carson has flip flopped on the proposed national guest-worker program; first, Carson said that illegals would have to return to their home country, but in July of 2015 Carson amended his proposal to allow for illegals to remain in country as guest workers as long as they pay taxes.

This proposal is very similar to the failed Gang of 8 amnesty bill and until the border is secured incentivizes illegal immigration.

Additionally Carson directly slammed calls for enforcing deportation laws. Carson like all the other GOP candidates wants the border secure, but Carson’s support for creation of a new guest-worker program comprised of illegal immigrants is amnesty but by another name.

Two things disturb me about Carson. One is I don’t think he is all that pro 2nd Amendment. I also don’t think he is all that strong on illegal immigration. I think he is weak on those two fronts.

That is what happened. We need to learn from it.

Do you also share the same goals as Al Sharpton? Carson said he does. Personally I am sick of social justice/racism.
