Icahn has way more money than Trump. Maybe he should be running for the Republican nomination instead.

Well there you go, from one of the best of the best...

If Trump is bringing in people like this, you know we are going to get down to business and Make America Great Again....

This guy doesn’t play around.....

Interesting. I don't know much about Icahn or his politics. But one thing I think Trump will do for us is pull competent people into the government that have been seasoned in the private sector and will bring an entirely new mindset to Washington.

Typically when a new president is elected, his flacks and cronies fill most of the appointed positions and it's just more of the same. Looking at Trump's record in business, he does not appear to tolerate mediocrity and is not afraid to fire people who don't meet expectations. Trump will bring a meritocracy as opposed to a bureaucratic kakistocracy to D.C.

¿Yeb? must have tossed his rattle right out of the pram when he heard this news.

“I’d like guys like Jack Welch. I like guys like Henry Kravis. I’d love to bring my friend Carl Icahn, you know, I mean, we have people that are great...we don’t use them, Joe. We use people who are soft, and weak, and frankly, stupid and incompetent.”

Indeed. Turn ‘em out.

Icahn had already thrown in with Trump. Why is this news?

[Billionaire Investor Carl]Icahn: Obama Would Be a Terrible President
Newsmax Money News ^ | May 22, 2008 | Staff

Posted on by 2ndDivisionVet

Carl Icahn, the billionaire investor best known for shaking up public companies, says he is very concerned about the Democratic frontrunner, Barack Obama.

“I personally think he would be a terrible president,’’ Icahn told investors in New York, according to wire reports.

Icahn thinks a President Obama would increase spending dramatically, something he says “the country can’t afford right now.”

An Obama spending spree and the resulting tax hikes to pay for it would kill the dollar and result in higher interest rates, Icahn warned. “I don’t think Obama really understands economics,’’ Icahn said.

Obama also would take office with a Democratic majority in the Congress, clearing the way for unchecked spending, Icahn said.

“It would be devastating,’’ Icahn said. “Then you couldn’t stop runaway legislation.’’

Birds of a feather flock together. Should there be any doubt now about Trumps allegiances?

This is news?

Trump openly said he would choose Icahn as his Treasury Secretary if he wins the Presidency. Icahn accepted.

Oh no, this will bring on an anti-Trump chorus of, ‘He’s part of the Establishment.’

Wait a minute...the anti-Trumpers were *already* crabbing that Trump was/is the ultimate Establishment candidate. We got nothin’ to lose!

Putin going after ISIS---the terrorist Muslims in Syria is entirely consistent.

Putin backed Egypt's Pres Al Sisi to throw terrorist Muslims out of Egyptian politics.

Putin backed al Sisi 's vow to rebuild the 63 churches and businesses destroyed by the rampaging Muslims.

Putin sticking his finger in the eye of the WH Muslim? That's a wrap.

Good to see him aboard. Mr. T did mention weeks ago that Icahn had called him wanting to help in the fight.

GO TRUMP (aka Mr. T!!)

Icahn put a lot of people out of jobs at Nabisco - not to mention essentially destroyed a great American company. I’m not the biggest fan.

But he’s a bestie with Donald, so this isn’t really news.

I thought Icahn had accepted Trump’s offer to be Treasury secretary back in August.

Icahn does not have the most savory background in the national and international world of business, plus he's almost 80 years old.

He's a hedge fund manager himself.

Read his Wiki or other bio site for yourself. I'm a Trump supporter, but he can do better than to align himself so closely with the likes of Icahn.

“Shortly after Trump launched his campaign, the candidate appeared on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

Another poke in the eye of Fox News.
