I think there are different ways Trump could have addressed such an issue. To/for me the best would have been to address the issue by saying flat out that anyone he offers a position to has to be a verified believer in the US Constitution as to why It exists and as to why It alone is the supreme law of the US. By tiptoeing around the issue Trump gives me the feeling he is hardly more than a carnival barker; sad to say this.

There is no way to know if the person really believes in US constitution. Mind reading has not been achieved, yet.
