I have very little respect for someone whose signature I cannot read. Either they have something to hide or they think life is a big guessing game centered around them. “Look at me! I can scribble something that you can’t read so you have to ask me what it is so I can tell you how important I am!”

Also, an illegible signature immediately tells me that person is unable or unwilling to communicate.

So what your saying is you have no respect for most, if not all, doctors. I can never read their signatures.

Excuse me, I have arthritis in my hands. I can’t do a good legible signature anymore.

I would tell a story about this, but it just isn’t important enough.
