Ann Coulter said late Wednesday she was just asking questions.
Prior to an appearance Wednesday evening with Fox News' Megyn Kelly, Coulter said in reference to pro-Israel remarks made during the second televised GOP primary debate, "How many f---ing Jews do these people think are in United States?"
The right-wing provocateur defended these and other questionable tweets Wednesday, explaining in her Fox interview that she was merely criticizing "pandering" by the GOP candidates.
"You want to take that back?" Kelly asked the author about her tweet.
"No," Coulter responded, "I just tweeted the question well, actually, I was tweeting all night when all the candidates were pandering, pandering, pandering. I wrote my column about it. They seem to be getting certain boxes: Have to mention Reagan, have to mention that they're pro-life, have to mention Israel."
"The entire Republican Party is pro-Reagan, pro-life, pro-Israel," she added. "The last question was: After you're president, how will America be better? And suddenly, we're back to Israel again. It's just this checking off of the boxes, and the virtues boxes and it's one of the things I like about in fact, I think they're probably pandering
to evangelicals, um, not Jews. It's just pandering, pandering, pandering, something we all agree on is not really separating the candidates."

Actually, it feels a little naughty and weird, as I dont use profanity, even when its called for!
I would probably laugh if you told me that I was f____ing hilarious. Contrary to what someone said and implied about me, I do have a sense of humor and Im not a prude and I dont take myself seriously at least not on a personal level,
But if Coulter or any other please buy my book because I say some controversial stuff pundit like her ex-boyfreind Bill Maher, had said "How many f---ing Evangelical Christians do these people think are in United States?" or "How many f---ing traditional marriages between one man and one woman do these people think are in United States?" or How many f---ing white privilege anglo-saxons do these people think are in United States?" well suddenly thats not so funny. I dont think that referring to Jews as f---ing Jews is a mere punctuation. Rather it give an insight into what Ann Coulter really thinks just as this tweet did:
I didnt find it funny at all.
Sure, she lives in Washington and works in the media biz, so in that sense she's an insider.
But if most of the GOPe can't stand her, what then?
She was aping Hillary’s words.
Years ago she was a decent Conservative.
***
More likely that, years ago, she appeared to be a decent conservative — in order to sell her books and be invited onto media programs. Now, the mask is dropping.
+1
Really classy. Perhaps you are made for each other.
:)
Coulter has been going after Adelson and Zuckerberg on immigration. I think that she is infected by grievances and has been spending too much time reading her friends at VDare.com, some of whom have a problem with Jews, or have a puerile interest in attacking Jews or Israel as a revenge on leftist Jews, many of whom dont care about Israel.
Meanwhile the dissident right as a whole has been infected by the cuckservative trend of childishness and grievance. Cuckservative is short for cuckold conservative. It was started by white nationalists, who believe that conservatives are standing by as a non-white America is being created. Because it originated with white nationalist, the term has been used not only to attack open-borders and pro-immigration people, but has taken on an openly antisemitic tone. For too many, any support of Israel is cuckservatism.
Of course, rational people supporting lower immigration and buildign a wall would not post screeds about the need fo rIsrael to be diversified, or claim that Americans who support Israel are cuckservatives. Rather they would suggest that we follow the example of Israel. Grievance is destroys rational thought. Antisemitism rots the mind and soul. Coulter should apologize and grow up.
I remember that tweet - I posted about it at the time....not funny in any way, shape or form. She sounds a little twisted to me.
Obviously this will be interpreted as run of the mill right wing antisemitism. There is no indication that she was mimicking Hillary, that doesn't hold water. As indicated by her further comments.
I like the Jews, I like fetuses, I like Reagan. Didn't need to hear applause lines about them all night.Simple, point to her many comments about too much attention to f***king pro lifers and f***ing Reagan admirers.
No matter, the damage is done, though it should be noted that if candidates were pandering, it was more to please f***ing Evangelicals, not Jewish voters
with a few additions.
Leaving aside Anns past comments about a Jew free America would be better (perfect the Jews not eliminate them) and her accompanying bizarre comment that Christianity is the Fedex religion (no rules like Judaism, you just go straight to heaven, they should convert-never understood why Christians werent offended), the transcript can be found here.
The question is near the end
TAPPER: OK, here's the more serious question, Ronald Reagan, the 40th President, used the plane behind you to accomplish a great many things. Perhaps, most notably, to challenge Mikhail Gorbachev to tear down the wall, and ultimately, to make peace with the USSR.How will the world look different once your Air Force One is parked in the hangar of your presidential library?
I wont offend Coulter supporters by suggesting she deliberately posed it as How will the
worldAMERICA look different once your Air Force One is parked in the hangar of your presidential library?. That might imply motivation. It was a long night, it was the last or second to last question, and after all Israel was mentioned 7 times before that. The mideast being a peaceful place, she probably couldnt understand that. The Israel references for those interested.
HUCKABEE: At the end of my presidency I would like to believe that the world would be a safe place, and there wouldn't be the threats. not only to the U.S., but to Israel and our allies, because we would have the most incredible well-trained, well-equipped, well- prepared military in the history of mankind.RUBIO: One of the things that made Ronald Reagan a great president, is that he understood that America was a unique nation, like any other that had existed throughout human history. He knew it was founded on universal principles that were powerful, the dignity of all people, human rights, the rights of all to live in freedom and liberty, and choose their own path in life. He didn't just believe it, he acted on it. That's why bringing down communism was so important to him. If I'm honored with the opportunity to be president, I hope that our Air Force One will fly, first and foremost, to our allies; in Israel, in South Korea, and Japan. They know we stand with them. That America can be counted on.
CRUZ: Ronald Reagan believed in America.
If I'm elected president our friends and allies across the globe will know that we stand with them. the bust of Winston Churchill will be back in the Oval Office, and the American embassy in Israel will be in Jerusalem.
Enemies across this world will know the United States is not to be trifled with. ISIS will be defeated. We will have a president willing to utter the words, "radical Islamic terrorism," and the Ayatollah Khamenei will understand that he will never, ever, ever acquire nuclear weapons.
I dont see much evidence of pandering. Plenty do, just check out the Twitter feed, #IstandWithAnn.
You mean Arianna Huffington isn't a conservative? :>)
Her long time live in boyfriend is Jewish.
One of my dogs is purportedly German, though she refers to herself as Alsatian. Love both my dogs, she likely loves her Jewish boyfriend. It's irrelevant.
She tweeted that too. The GOP pandering to Jews and Evangelicals. Sounds like a dem.
Why would she do that, her issue was with American Jews and the Republicans who pander to them, not Israel. Note the quotes in post 92
No, but in America we are allowed to criticize those who offend us
Cuckservative, I like the term they way you presented it.
I doubt it. She'll write another faux conservative book, her sycophants will declare all forgiven, Coulter posts will re-appear on Free Republic and things will be back to semi-normal.
