I noticed that Trump was mobbed as soon as he came off stage. The mob was circled 15 deep around him.

Heard Hannity discuss with Geraldo that Carly had once made an untidy remark about Barbara Boxer’s hair. I assume it was during the California senate battle.
I would send that blurb to sheik?feather to tweet out to Trump, but I draw a blank on his handle to contact him. LOL!

Trump is in flight to NYC. He spoke with the NYC reporter, Chris Coumo, and then said they were going to fly back. I believe that is the only interview he did that I have found.

Maybe not the most memorable thing but overall to the causal observer and the sophisticated one as well Governor Bush had a mediocre, mediocre debate performance. The consequences that his dismal performance and the panic it will cause is a good thing as Martha would say. What the RNC wanted to happen to Governor Bush is starting happen to Senator Ted Cruz - a slow steady improvement peaking right at voting time. The unfairness shown him is going to help him to start moving. Fleeing Dr. Carson voters, finding their champion in Cruz should get him much closer to Trump. Recent history suggest Senators make terrible presidents - I hope Senator Cruz is learning as much from Donald and Donald is from him because he does need to be more aggressive/assertive/louder. Voting for an outsider self-funded builder like Trump, is a of an once in a lifetime opportunity too good to pass on. So Cruz needs to up his game I wish I knew how - I'd share.
random thoughts
- I was glad that Carly ended the whole government shutdown stuff with her moral indignation and challenge to have Hillary watch those videos. We got to start talking about the war on babies
- I was happily shocked to have Senator Paul mention some actual constitutional verbiage on what 14th amendment says. Why this has been not clearly articulated in several sentences by one of these candidates still puzzles me; however, him adding some context seemed to stop the whole anchor baby intimidation by Tapper.
- $10 I want lady liberty holding different sections of the constitution, maybe some with Obama lighting it on fire
- Trump did well enough that his numbers won't be ill affect.
- I think what I want is Senator Cruz's brain in Senator Rubio's. For some reason I have trouble watching/listening to Cruz. I'm shallow and petty but so are most voters- needs to be addressed
Wonderful thread - made the debate way more fun

“He needs to do his homework and be ready to answer anticipated questions with a solid reply”.
Or just memorize the number of Navy ships, Air Force squadrons, and Army divisions, and tell everyone they need to be bigger. The exact same way that General Carly did. Anyone think she knows one thing about the US military? Of course not.

< Why does Jeb look like the only serious adult in the room? >
___________________________
I think it’s not a serious adult, but because he has looooooow energy, is eastern bred, mannerly to a fault, but experienced as governor, and out of his league for the presidency. Hillary would blow him over. He is reticent, shy and uncertain.

Americans aren’t that way yet. Technology though will replace biology. It’s just a matter of time.

Thanks. The extent of their tyranny will be tested in the coming months. Stand firm, Pray for America and continue to Prepare! Be ready to storm the convention if they somehow manipulate Jeb or some other Rino on us. . . I'm serious. . That will be the sign, as INVAR said, that full on Soviet-style tyranny now rules, so nothing will matter then.

What were John McCain’s poll numbers this time in 2007 especially as compared to Giuliani and Fred Thompson? And who ended up winning the nomination?
To: plain talk
I guess we had best stick with GOPe, eh? Because, after all - just like you - they know everything. Oh, but Cruz is not a part of that crowd in any way - yeah, sure.

< Im tired of it. We have a popular guy hawking Conservative values who is capable of drawing from all demographics. >
I am so happy to be with Trump. It has been fun and it’s still fun. Just think, only 14 months to go! Yikes!
Too bad a few are having such a negative time of it. I still say, if Trump shouldn’t survive the long knives, Cruz and other conservatives sure are not.
The debate was way too long. I don’t know how they all did it.
I vote for Huck and Rand to fold the chair and go home. Walker isn’t going to make it either, good as he is in Wisconsin. I wish Kasich had not gotten in. Then the debates would be shorter and better.

Oh, yea! I have Morning Joe on our DVR, so will get to see him, or hear him. I forgot to tell you he told Coumo he was headed to New Hampshire in the morning, from NYC. He is a busy boy.
Dying to hear his take.

Hey Virginia, you talked to Tom yet? How do you think it went? Did it destroy Trump? Lower his poll numbers? Help Hillary?

Yes! You describe it perfectly! Wasn’t that a great camera shot? I bet we never see that converted into a photo, which means we will never see that scene again!

You did not answer my question. If Cruz is so much a conservative (and I am not contradicting that assertion) then where is his support? His polling numbers are abysmal b/c he is a BORING policy wonk. Americans are fed up with that sort of persona. Perhaps many see him as just another “insider” despite his conservative credentials. If nothing else, this election is shaping up to be a revolt against the insiders. Of, course, the only poll that matters is the one held on election day.
