Christie, Paul will go for broke.

Bush, Carly, Walker will try to force themselves into the picture.

Cruz, Kasich and Rubio will stay Presidential.

Trump will be Trump.

Huckabee will preach to his choir.

And Trump will soar.

Basically, this race is Trump’s to lose.

Rubio has never been presidential and cannot attain that status.

The man panders to racial supremacist organizations at their venues.

You have to be a drooling meth head to think that sort of behavior belongs in the presidency. Most of those are going with Bernie Sanders, so the potential constituency for Marco has been committed elsewhere.

I am waiting for the Hugh Hewitt gotcha question to Trump about Dirkastan’s foreign minister’s favorite breakfast cereal.

Donald may well go pole to pole- you might be right.

But, in this debate, there will be some professional agitators poking and prodding him- trying to get him to explode.

During the first debate, Trump kept his cool in spite of 2 very offensive questions from moderators. Trump has personally dealt with thousands of very smart business people from all over the world. He will not lose his cool during the 2nd debate. He will not get into a food fight during the debate.

Business people who have a long history of success got there by not getting into a brawl.

Your prediction sounds about right to me.

Trump rally on the US Iowa BB tomorrow. Theme should be National Security.

I hope you’re right. If Trump loses his lead, then Bush, Walker Rubio Carly— they all pop up. As a Cruz supporter, I don’t want that to happen.

I was just saying- these politicians aren’t business men- they’re professional agitators- esp Paul and Christie— they will try to goad him into looking un-presidential.

I am 100% certain, there will be fierce attacks from Rand and Carly. That is the main reason CNN promoted her into the prime time debate, yet did not trim the field down to 10, because then Rand Paul would be out of it.

At this point I wonder how much Trump has to gain from this kind of mass debate. At least he already knows it will be 1 vs. 10 (or maybe 9 if Cruz lays off).

"It's not at all clear whether that's what voters want Walker or any other candidate to do"

Yeah it is. Crystal clear.

But Walker is not the man for the job.

Even if Cruz’s numbers are low, he’d be smart to stay in the race. If anything happens to the Trump candidacy, he will gather the lion’s share of Trump’s supporters.

Cruz will attack the Democrats and the Republican establishment. He will not attack Trump.

Rand failed miserably in the 1st debate. Christy is doomed. People didn’t like Bridgegate.

Byron York is another pinhead pundit rooting for Jeb.

Meanwhile, both Cruz and Walker are crisscrossing the country setting up a vast grassroots network.

By elevating Fiorina to the adult table, you can see their plan from a mile away.

Trump will be asked apologize to Fiorina during the debate.
