The GOPE is just stepping in it left and right.
For background, Ken Cuccinelli (non-GOPe) won the nomination for governorand the guy he beat Bill Bolling (GOPe) did not support him nor did the rest of the GOPe. Many actually supported MsAulliffe. The result: Terry McAulliffe is the governor, winning by a few thousand votes. I doubt he is pushing this as a direct challenge to Trump. I don’t know who he supports (possibly Cruz), but he is not GOPe.
