It's a terrible sign of the political times when a candidate never considered by the electorate as a presidential candidate material to now be considering a run for the Presidency. It's not like there were throngs of people demanding his candidacy, nor was there anyone in on the spontaneous'Draft Biden Now' juggernaut.Biden is more simpleton than simple man and never will beconsidered or mistaken for a Mensa member. His personality character is more akin to some goofy guy, with a reputation to saying the wrong things at the wrong times. In the long run his candidacy will have zero effect on the outcome and is simply a an exercise in vanity and boredom. I would entitle his theme for his president as "Goofy Buffoon" gets lucky has less than nothing to lose in entering the race. The only thing I see him good for is comic relief with his propensity for malapropisms and a not very deep, profound thought process in his political approach and an attitude of What me, worry?

Obama would love Biden in there to continue his fundamental transformation.

Your points are well taken and right on the money.
Wouldn’t it be fun to watch Ted Cruz or The Donald debate Uncle Joe? The ref would have to call it after the first round.

Talk about your conundrums.
How do you pick the ‘lesser of two evils’ when it comes to Biden or Warren? the hole gets deeper when you throw OMalley in the mix...
If I didn’t know better, it seems like they are just trying to throw a name out there - like when they figure they can’t win....BUT that got us Clinton twice and BO twice..
Then again GOPe ran Dole against Clinton II and once Romney crushed his ‘fellow’ R’s - alienating his base so the wouldn’t even vote for him - then Romney played footsie with BO much as he did when he had Teddy boy beat prior his becoming Guv of Mass...
It gets real scary when your ‘real leftists’ claim BO and Bernie are to soft and call Christie/McCain/Graham Conservatives

Planned all along...drain Hillary’s cash until his/ her greed makes them drop out and their scandals. I can only hope they leave with scorched earth and drag 0bummer and his cabal under the bus with them.(them as in both Clintons)

Biden is a foolish-seeming man, but he’s also extremely left wing. IIRC, he had the most consistently left-wing voting record of any senator of his time.
