I have to agree. I don’t know what happened but Walker is not the same candidate he was before. It’s most disappointing. I still like him but I’m now looking around at the others with a more serious eye.

As I indicated, I think he has become a prisoner to the political consultant class, including George Will's wife. He is afraid to go off message, which is probably focus group tested. He sounds like just another politician compared to someone like Trump.

Walker had a good position on immigration when he linked it to American workers. I suspect that the GOPe gave him the message to tone it down. And no doubt, the Koch brothers didn't like it either.

Now Walker will not comment on immigration except to say that nothing else should be discussed until the border is secure.
