Same here...I NEVER answer the door after dark and during the day I ALWAYS have a side arm with me if I choose to answer the door.
This sub division has a very noticeable sign at the entry way: no solicitation. So anyone stopping by if not a neighbor has no business at my door. I care not a whit if they are not happy at getting an armed reception.
See, thats just the thing... people don’t have to get shot to make people stop. The mere presence of a weapon will deter.
They need to know that they will be greeted with a firearm EVERY TIME they attempt to accost anyone.
