FOX News host Megyn Kelly announced tonight at the end of her show that she will be going on a much needed vacation for the next week-and-a-half.
My way out?
Are you banning me little fella?
LOL
>My way out?
>Are you banning me little fella?
No, no, no, Mygyn’s way out, don’t let the door hit her in the “where-ever” on the way out.
Only liberals ban, we’re cool.

Which, if for no other reason, is the singular thing to enjoy about this ride.
I'm for Cruz and I think Trump is a major contribution to our efforts as he draws a massive spotlight to the critical issues of the election.
He draws flak that would inevitably be directed at Ted Cruz. And it bounces right off him back at the left. What is not to love?
And it gives us time to diminish Bush and Rubio into memories by the time primaries come. It's already heading that direction.
Would I vote for him? Not over Cruz but yes, I would.
I don't want a president. I want a wrecking ball and I want it aimed at DC elitists.

Nicely stated.
Lots of leftist FReaks in here these days.
I've been here for some 15 years now, and I do enjoy a good, long Troll-b-q thread with fellow FReepers - LOL!
Trump says Pam Geller brought the garland terror attack on herself to make money.

That’s quite some hero ya got there.
Jackasses like you prove my point. Don’t give a rat’s rear if you read it or not. Go away boy, your boring me. And I wasn’t an officer, my father and mother were married.
It’s hilarious to see most of them use the same buzzwords on this subject, hero, hero worship, Trump insulted a sometimes Christian but usually conservative woman, the overt sexual references regarding Trump and anyone they perceive to be supporting Trump...
All they know is they allegedly want Cruz or Bush, with no room for discussion on any of the issues Trump has brought to the campaign when no one else dared.
I seem to attract the worst of them, and I’ve never even posted plans to vote for Trump!
Fun times.
Having given this a lot of thought, I’ve concluded at this point, Cruz, who is as close to an ideal conservative as we are likely to get, has no chance of winning the general, much as I might want him to. I learned in high school that the most intelligent and qualified kids were overlooked in school elections in favor of the cheerleaders and sports heroes.
There is always going to be “regression towards the mean” in politics, because half the electorate is below average in intellegence, information or motivation. And the country has been shoved off center to the left for decades now. People have been made discouraged, demoralized and intimidated.
Only a powerful personality with broad appeal is going to succeed in this dumbed-down “marketplace”, and Cruz is too intellectual and not as superficially photogenic the Trump entourage, with Trump’s long media experience and telegenic adult family members. Plus, Cruz is not a lock with the Hispanic voter, just as black conservatives cannot count on a vote from their subgroup.
Cruz doesn’t yet have enough name recognition other than continual smears by the lefty MSM. He would do best to be a VP to a strong executive such as Trump until the country itself can be turned farther back towards the center. We have been going steadily left ever since Reagan left office in 1989 26 years. That means any voters in the 18 to 40 segment are going to resist voting R, in addition to all the older hippies and 60s radicals 40 and up.
We need a strong paradigm-breaker like Trump, warts and all, with his deep executive experience in order to have a hope of turning things around. Let him surround himself with these qualified younger Republican leaders and put a lot more into the pipeline ”Republican Apprentice”. We are not going to be able to move the country back to majority right or right-leaning in one election. Let’s not let the perfect drive out the good.
That said, Cruz should absolutely stay in the race as long as possible and reach as many people as possible, building name recognition and insertig other useful building blocks into the public perception record, like his amazing debate with Code Pink.
In this Idiocracy of a nation we live in today, it takes charisma to win.
McCain and Romney had zilch in charisma.
Cruz does have that issue. Which is part of why I don’t think I’d mind a Trump/Cruz ticket.
But I want Cruz to be smart enough to be in line for #1 if Trump fades.
The Dems, fortunately, are in disarray.
Don’t give up hope. Trump’s support has peaked and there will be a consolidation of the other 80% of the vote. Let Trump decline on his own and make sure that Jeb (and certain others) do not benefit from consolidation. For now, I see Trump as a useful tool. He is providing a venue of discussions on important issues that would otherwise be chosen by the MSM. (In other words, every liberal idea and cause out there)
Whoever our nominee is will get immediate world wide name recognition over night. All you have to do is get Ted Cruz on stage for a one on one debate with the Democrat nominee and that’s all she wrote!
