The problem for Fiorina is this.
On abortion she tries to sound pretty tough. Unfortunately she claims that when the life of the mother is on the line, abortion is okay.
In principle, I side with that. However, here is the problem.
When Reagan signed abortion legislation in California, he only did so to cover women whose lives were in jeopardy.
Once Reagan signed that legislation, every mom that wanted an abortion was viewed as having her life threatened by the fetus.
Abortion was available on demand.
So when Fiorina states in instances where the mom’s life is on the line, she should know the law in her own home stage where that issue is gamed.
Reagan termed this his biggest political mistake.
