The five who I thought did the best: Cruz, Rubio, Walker, Huckabee, Carson. (Carson is very likeable and a good man, but I don't think he's prepared to be President.)
The two who I thought were . . . meh: Bush, Christie
The three who I think did poorly and I would have a hard time voting for: Kasich, Paul, Trump
Yeah when Trump first announced he was in low single digits but so was Cruz. Maybe Cruz was 4% and Trump was 2% or something .

Stepping all over yourself much? Trump rose 25% in a month; as did Perot before him; and Cain; and Santorum and Gingrich and Bachmann— that’s the nature of meaningless polls at this point.
You don’t like Cruz- you want to support someone else- fine, that’s your affair. But, respectfully, don’t clog up the board with sophomore claims, in a thinly veiled effort to take shots at Cruz.
Have courage, just like Cruz— say what you mean. Tell people who you support and why— that’s the way to go.

The perfect answer from Trump would have been “I support women’s equality, Megyn, don’t you? I treat women the same as men and answer my critics and am not PC. Why are you trying to inflame a war on women, Megyn?”
That may be but she is a “sex symbol” on Fox.
Women may not actually think she’s prettier than they are but their men might.
Even worse.

The biggest loser of the night: Megyn Kelly. I have never liked her, but this was her worst performance.
I totally agree with your first two paragraphs, but I think it was set-up to specifically ambush Trump & Cruz.
Yes, Kelly, Wallace and Baier went after all ten, but in drastically different “tones” and in a lesser accusatory manner.

Cruz did a wonderful job, considering the short amount of time he was given. But, what impressed me most about Cruz tonight was what he did immediately after the debate...when he walked straight over to Trump, and stood with him. Class act, considering the attempted, all out ambush on Trump.

That cartel consists of Fox News even.. the media, congress, the left and congress. Since Trump has entered the race, you can see them cartel scatter.. yell... criticize.. and try to take Trump.. OUT.
