Yup. While I'm OK with reasonable environmental regulations the EPA isn't about protecting the environment.

U.P. Road Commission Taking On EPA

A Michigan mining company spent years and millions of dollars for the ability to mine and now that they got it the EPA is standing in the way of increasing safety and conserving fuel. The mining company wants to build a 21 mile dedicated road to the mill that would shorten the trip from 78 miles through multiple small towns.
