... Trump may have surged ahead of the 2016 Republican candidates, but if he ever became the GOP nominee, the nation would vote Democrat.
He earned 20 percent favorability among the Republicans in a new poll [URL at link] - the largest favorability in the party that the Quinnipiac University poll has ever seen. Following behind him are Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker at 13 percent and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush with 10 percent. ...
Yet Trump's own party put him at the top of the "no way" list. Thirty percent of Republicans respondents said they would "definitely not support" him for the Republican nomination. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie follows at 15 percent, then Bush at 14 percent.
The Democrats would pick anyone else over the media mogul in the general election as well. Quinnipiac asked American voters to choose between another Democratic candidate and Trump, and Trump loses every time: Hillary Clinton and Trump (48 - 36 percent), Vice President Joe Biden and Trump (49 percent - 37 percent) and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and Trump (45 - 37 percent). ...
Both parties have their worst favorability ratings yet. Among both party voters, Trump has a negative 27 - 59 percent, and Clinton has a negative 40 - 51 percent. ...

Not backing another fake Republican!!!!
So Nostradamus, who is going to win the World Series?
If these polls are irrelevant, then if Trump keeps talking about how well he is doing in the polls then should he stop this talk?
Saw the same thing. Why Rove, a Bush supporter, is allowed to comment on the race is beyond me. He is far from objective and a legend in his own mind.
You are using a Red Herring against me, but it is Real Clear Politics you should be calling “Nostradamus”. LOL.
The go with Cruz.
These polls are pure BS. No republican would vote for Hillary Clinton if Trump ran against her. No sane “independent” would.
ANY republican can beat that witch, who I don’t even think will get the nomination.
Correction:
Then go with Cruz.
I’d rather lose with Trump....it would show Americans that is was good and allowable to FIGHT.
Especially if the went THIRD PARTY.
WE MUST GET WHITE AMERICANS IN A FIGHTING MOOD.....much more important than winning an election with a Republocrat like the ones we recently put in charge of the House and Senate.
ONCE WHITE FOLK GET PROUD AGAIN AND START PUNCHING OTHER PEOPLE DEAD IN THE FACE, AND START PROTESTING AND RAISING HELL AND SHOW THEY ARE NOT AFRAID TO GO TO JAIL FOR WHAT THEY BELIEVE.....elections will be easy.
If these polls are BS, then if Trump talks about how well he is doing in the polls, is this something he should stop doing?
Trump does well in polls that deal with Republicans, but apparently RINO Rove was dealing with national polls that take into account Dems and Independents.
Simple, go with Cruz.
Come Hell or high water the Dems just keep holding onto that 47%.
That’s why we need a disruptor like Trump. Another vanilla POTUS campaign by a Walker or Bush = GOP loss.
The Dems have the formula down to beat a GOP POTUS and the GOP is happy to play the patsy. Time for Plan B.
So this poll had un-American people that were polled?
I don’t believe this for a moment. I’m seeing support for Trump from people who I never would have expected. When it’s Trump and whoever else the choice is going to be much clearer and people will move to Trump in droves.
Good question.
The LIV has little idea about Hillary and Bill for that matter. Many of the millennials have no recollection of the Clinton era and the scandals.
What is relevant is the primary race and the poll numbers for the GOP candidates against one another. Fox is using them to cull the herd.
Sorry, I didn’t mean you of course. I just love these pollsters and prognosticators that think they know what is going to happen.
If you are sick of Pastel Politicians, then go with Cruz.
I think their results for Trump vs. Sanders are total BS other than the fact that they probably polled people who would vote for ANY left-winger. I talk to people all the time, and even though Bernie Sanders is drawing some decent crowds it seems like most people don’t have any idea who he is.
