Jacksons work to increase the political power and wealth of lower-class white men at the expense of people of color and women is not worthy of celebration or reverence in a post-Fourteenth Amendment America.

Is anyone else troubled, at the tendency of liberals to judge certain historic figures by the criteria of 21st century political.correctness, as opposed to the standards of the world they lived in???
To: 2ndDivisionVet
I am not going to visit MSNBC to learn the name of the author, yet it sounds like utter and complete fantasy.

Old Hickory was an American hero and the savior of New Orleans. He is worthy of admiration.

More fiction from another lying liberal.

With all the crap going on right now worldwide, you can always count on the left to focus on the most mundane things, who is on money, the confederate flag, global warming, gay marriage, meanwhile we have an absolute psychopath in the White House working overtime put an end to the USA, get nukes to Islamo-Nazis, destroy the world economy, all those lovely things liberals choose to ignore.

Fantasy is the stock in trade for a liberal propagandists.
There are not enough demons in the Universe to satisfy the perpetual guilt of liberals everywhere, they have to conjure more up out of their imaginations.
And even the Devil sighs at these fervid ramblings. There is only so much the supernatural can do, you know, and these are the Marvel “graphic novels” protagonists as compared to real life heroes. Wonderfully entertaining, but so far beyond the capabilities that now exist as to be only fiction, for many years to come.

Cripes! The writer of this crap probably has no idea that the Battle of N.O. happened or its significance.

This bad ass would be a great replacement for Jackson considering the political gamesmanship he employed to "screw" Michigan out of the Toledo strip. He gave the Toledo Strip to Ohio in return for Ohio delivering the democrat vote for president.

I’d like to see him replaced on the Twenty by Larry the Cable Guy. In today’s economy, Americans really need a sense of humor.

Wasn’t Hamilton (on the $10), A REPUBLICAN ..????
I believe that is the reason the LEFT has decided that the $10 bill is more appropriate than the $20.
