“In some parts of the country, the men in blue have gotten the message. Quit policing the predominantly black neighborhoods”
Unfortunately in this case the message is “quit policing peaceful integrated neighborhoods when violent mobs are brought in from outside.” This is not a message I want the police to get. From what I’ve read this was a DJ who tweeted out invitations to out-of-towners for a paid party he set up.
The more I read about this the more it sounds like an orchestrated event intended to provoke a harsh police response with videos and protests to follow.
Who hired the “DJ”?
That’s the question that matters.
