It’s immaterial if he knew or not. He was doing his job and all these whiners only see what they want to see.
There ... fixed it.
,,,, what is a cop supposed to do with an irate uncooperative person ??? Beg them to do as they ask ??? These irate arrogant individuals don’t respect or listen to their own parents or teachers . What would you do it trying to make an arrest of a very uncooperative jerk ???
Secondly, the officer drew his weapon because he was rushed by a few of these people while attempting to gain control over this teenager...runnin her mouth, adding to the chaos.
Man oh man. I've seen many videos of out of control cops injuring citizens. I absolutely despise rogue cops....this was not one of them.
He was attempting to gain control over a chaotic scene. Did he go a lil overboard with the language...yea, prolly. But just like he said in the video...you're making me run around with 30lbs of gear on in 90’ heat.
the police officer only pulled his gun from the holster when two men came up from behind as he was getting the so called black teenage youth to the ground. the gun was aimed towards the ground. There were two other officers whom came into the scene and gave chase to the two othr men whom came up onto the officer as he was trying to subdue the girl. Notice that the party was ongoing and 7 more youth wanted to join into the pool party. The girl is one of the 7 whom wanted to get into the party!
The negress resisted arrest..... a night stick wack will reduce resisting almost instantly and prevent wrestling a resister
bring back night sticks , bring back solid licks on nasty resisters endangering police bringing order
These recent instances are a result of the newly acquired Constitutional right called “Black Privilege”.
All I see is an officer trying to get control of an unruly mob and then attempting to arrest someone who is resisting and then a guy sneaking up behind the officer with one hand behind his back as if he has something in his shirt behind him.
If she had done what he told her to do immediately it would have been a completely different situation and no national story....
Uh, doesn’t the Washington Post know that the video (surprise, surprise) presents a totally distorted version of events. Here’s what actually transpired, according to an African-American man who lives in the neighborhood:
Benet Embry just wanted a respite from the heat when he went to his neighborhood pool Friday. Talking to CNN Monday about the national story that rolled out of that simple, mundane summer activity still has him pretty well dismayed.
The 43-year-old African-American has lived in Craig Ranch, a planned community, for eight years. It’s a nice place. Racially diverse. People get along there.
Thinking back on the pool party, he might have known it would be crowded. The invite to the party had earlier caught fire on Twitter and social media. Craig Ranch’s strict homeowners’ association rules prohibit bringing more than two guests to the pool.
So when crowds of teenagers showed up, huddling by the gate and shouting to let them in, things got out of hand. Some kids jumped over the fence, Embry said. A security guard tried to get them to leave but was outnumbered, so the guard called police.
Police would arrive, and one officer seen on a video later posted to YouTube, would be placed on administrative leave. The officer cursed at several black teenagers, yanked a 14-year-old girl wearing only a bikini to the ground and knelt on her back. He also unholstered his firearm and chased teenage boys as they approached him while he was trying to control the girl.
Shortly after the approximately seven minute video hit YouTube, many on social media alleged that the white officer was racist. The Texas NAACP called meetings because members suspected as much, its president, Gary Bledsoe, said on CNN Monday.
Embry disagrees.
“Let me reiterate, the neighbors or the neighborhood did not call the police because this was an African-American party or whatever the situation is,” he said. “This was not a racially motivated event — at all. This whole thing is being blown completely out of proportion.”
Another resident said a DJ set up his gear in a public space near the pool and began blasting F-bomb music for several hours, while tweeting out invites to a “pool party” for 15. Carloads of kids—not from the neighborhood—showed up and chaos ensued.
Did the Post know this? Probably...and they choose to ignore it, since it doesn’t fit the narrative of white cops beating up black kids.
Kudos to Mr. Embry for coming forward and setting the record straight. I believe he was on TV with Sean Hannity last night, and I was surprised to see CNN carrying his comments as well. The residents’ accounts of what transpired cast the incident in a completely different light.
Then he should have. Everything is recorded these days.
Typical liberal media misdirection. Fill in the blanks: “Didn’t the ‘abusive Cop’ know he was being recorded?” This is the presumption of guilt by omission.
From everything I have seen, I say the officer did a commendable job in controlling a scene that was quickly escalating toward violence. If you ignore and/or are aggressive around cops giving orders, it is not going to end well for you. The best solution to that problem is to not put yourself in that position.
This was a set up, and the police was right there. #1) These “TEENAGERS” knew they were doing wrong. They didn’t have the right to be there. They were there illegally. What were the owners of those property to do? They called the police. There’s got to be a lesson here for every body. The first lesson is for these “TEENAGERS”. You do not go where you aren’t invited, and create a “SCENE”.
After viewing this video I think that one cop belongs behind a desk. He seems TOO NERVOUS..., VERY SCARED... of who ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Chinese or Russian invasion, some mass murder on a rampage???........... Oh no it was typical teenagers doing what most teenagers do in the Summer. ust looking at this cops behavior you would think it's Vietnam, and they just raided a communist village.
It's astounding the officer is that SCARED of little 14 year old teenagers at a pool party. I would not be surprised if he wet his underwear. Hey just saying... You can clearly see the FEAR in his eyes, and trying to act tough to over compensate for his short height/Napoleon syndrome.
Guys like this guy have no business being a police officer. He is obviously too scared, and can't seem to keep a cool head when it's required.
Did the Washington Post bother to ask why the cops were there in the first place? While they complained about his language, did they complain about the lyrics in black rap music? No, of course not. All they are interested in is further destroying police work and causing more racial problems.
Noticed the teen in question is now 15, not 14.
Noticed her in a news interview giving her side of the story, which didn’t exactly match the video.
She claimed she was walking away. She claims what she said was not directed at the officer.
FoxNews did show an ‘extended’ version of the video this morning. Even the ‘extended’ version seemed to have starts-and-stops or segments cut out. It opened with 3 officers chasing several black yutes, as they were trying to get control of the situation. {video break} {video continues} Video shows officer approaching 15 year old, tells her to leave, to leave, to leave, she mouths, she mouths, she mouths. He sits her on the ground.
In her news interview, she claims the officer has his knee into her back, etc.
I saw it this morning. Looks like he was doing his job to me.
If you haven’t seen it you should look at the legal analysis at this site: http://legalinsurrection.com/2015/06/video-analysis-mckinney-brawl-another-rush-to-misjudgment/
