There were two really bad things about his Civil War movie. First was the endlessly whining fiddles. Second was his incompetent treatment of Civil War medicine and surgery. All he did was bemoan the truly horrible fate of the wounded; he never really covered the medical procedures and the really great strides that were made.

Mr Burns has made some good documentaries. One would think he is a somewhat intelligent human being. One would be wrong. Seems Ken does not know about the internet. If he did he could have done some really minimal research and found out that no cops are not gunning down blacks weekly or eeven monthly. Yes some black CRIMINAL in confrontations with Police have been killed. That of course is not gunning anyone down. He would also have learned that the most dangerous thing to young black males are other young black males...........

My personal revenge on Ken Burns occurred in the “Civil War” documentary. While showing the tragic Gardiner photos of the dead of Gettysburg, the background music was a Civil War Era Quickstep named “Mockingbird”.
A tune which ended up being immortalized in the 20th Century mind as the theme song for The three Stooges.

And do you have any awareness of exactly how any young black men are actually killed by the police every year? Or any knowledge of the real circumstances? In neither case, is it what you think or believe.
