Good morning, everyone! Hey, it's a beautiful Sunday out there.
It's a great day to go out and celebrate something new and exciting,... like 'International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia'. Our President says so. My wife insists it is Moochelle's "coming out day" but I think it is just more celebration of diversity and efforts to strengthen our culture and togetherness. Perhaps I am just the cynic in our family?
In any case, it appears we will get plenty of "news" on the Amtrak wreck. What is there to say? The engineer was going twice the speed limit into a sharp curve. Physics rules. What was the guy really thinking of and doing instead of driving the train? But maybe we'll get a better figure on how many more billions we need to spend on "infrastructure" to make them safe, so it should be an illuminating discussion on all the shows.

The train wreck is pretty straight forward:
Train driver of the crazy train drives around 50 mph corner at 106 mph. Train goes off the rails. Many injured. Several killed.Blame goes to evil Republicans cutting the infrastructure budget.
That pretty much sums up the story.

If there is a better symbol of big gummit than Amtrak what is it? Now flying is safer than rails thanks to Affirmative Action hiring.
