If being aware of statistical reality is racist, then so be it.
Are there great and wonderful people in the “inner city”? Sure, lots of them. However, the probability of encountering a psychopathic killer who hates white people is significantly higher there than in my suburban neighborhood. It is therefore prudent to be on your guard there.

I do not consider it racist to point out facts and statistics, generally. It crosses the line when applying the stereotypes to ALL people of a category or inferring things about people due to race.
It is one thing to state that black people per capita commit more violent crimes than whites. It is something else to assume an individual black person is a criminal based on being black, or that a white person is innocent because he is white.
I did not see any comments from you that sounded racist. But it does happen frequently here.
