I appreciate your comment, but I think it was addressed to the wrong person.
I have observed we definitely do have a problem on FR with racially offensive comments going unchecked.
If being aware of statistical reality is racist, then so be it.
Are there great and wonderful people in the “inner city”? Sure, lots of them. However, the probability of encountering a psychopathic killer who hates white people is significantly higher there than in my suburban neighborhood. It is therefore prudent to be on your guard there.

Really? Did you confront the alleged offenders or at least report them?
Being “offensive” in a constitutional republic is trivial. The accuser appears childish and unsuitable for public discourse. What is appropriate is being reasonable.
Let’s cease the demagoguery.
I once had a flat in Detroit. I-75 and st. Aubin. Just after Christmas. If you’re from the area you know the name “st. Aubin” is usually followed by “street massacre”. Bad area. I had just got married and the car was literally full of presents. A black cabbie stopped and helped me change the tire. He then said “this ain’t no place for no white folks at night, hell- it ain’t no place for no black folks either. Get back on the highway and go home. I’m leaving’ myself.”when I offered him some money he declined and told me to help somebody else when they needed it. We paint with too broad a brush on FR sometimes I think.
I don’t understand all the comments about race to this article about a stranger walking up and stabbing a defenseless baby in a car while a family changes a tire?
I don't believe you, and you shouldn't believe yourself either.
Sorry, my comment was to an earlier poster not you.
