What a POS.
Don't tip your hand and reveal the job the GOPe has assigned you in these primaries too soon, Huckster.

There's argument for both sides on the senator/no senator discussion
I don't give a shit if you're a dog catcher, Joe the plumber, or Alfred E Neuman ... we need a real president
I wouldn't mind resurrecting Eisenhower.

I want my senator to run for president. I want my senator to stay in the Senate in the meantime. My senator is doing the will of his constituents.
Go blow Mike.

Hmmmm.I wonder if Huckabee is a stalking horse. Announcing and then immediately trying to push others in the race to do something they don't want to do? Who would this benefit?? Jeb?

Funny. I don’t remember Huck saying this when John McCain ran for president.

WHAT A COMPLETE IMBECILE. Hey Huckster...did you resign your Arkansas Governor job when YOU were running for reelection.
Anyone who gives ANY credibility to this GRIFTER is not thinking straight.

How about the governors. By the way who is paying this guy?

This ‘dare’ from Mike Huckabee almost confirms my belief that he was put there primarily to prevent some of the Young Radicals i.e. Cruz, Walker, Paul from gaining any traction. I don’t believe Mike’s backers expect him to be nominated either. He is a Stalking Horse for unnamed benefactors. If I were Ted or Scotty, I would NAME those benefactors loud and clear. WHO OWNS HUCK?, for how much, and for what actions in particular?
To: VinL
That's
pretty VERY lame.
Huck - as an ex governor - has a luxury in saying that. All he has to do is quit a talking head job.

If a person has a job that the taxpayers are paying for, shouldnt that person do that job?
This explains why Huck is running. He thinks he’s the most qualified because he hasn’t really had a job since 2007.

This from a guy who let his son torture a dog to death and then fired a cop for doing his job by investigating it? Integrity and honesty are not words I would associate with Huckabee. He should just shut up and eat some fried squirrels.

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabees opponents in the race for the White House who are senators should either resign or drop out of the contest, he said on ABCs Good Morning America Wednesday. If a person has a job that the taxpayers are paying for, shouldnt that person do that job? Huckabee, a Republican who said Tuesday he was running for president, told ABC News George Stephanopoulos on GMA. Three of his opponents in the Republican presidential field are U.S. senators: Sens. Rand Paul, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. Asked whether he thought his opponents should resign, he called it a clear choice. LOL Huckabee's secret motivation for running is out in the open.

What I don’t understand is how Mike think this non-position position is going to help him stand out. It’s obviously a self-serving point of view. I can’t imagine anybody thinking, “You know he’s right, this IS a matter of principle.” What I imagine most people are thinking is, “Well I can see how that serves Mike’s interests.”
Now. Contrast that with Senator Cruz who is standing out with his policy positions.
You want to impress me, Gov. Huckabee, why want to say something to repudiate your fiscal spending history.

Just as many of us expected, Huckabee’s primary purpose for running is to bite at the ankles of other candidates, make snarky comments, and issue one-liner slams that big media can use for headlines. He was recruited for this purpose by GOP establishment insiders with money and influence seeking to stifle the success of conservative candidates.
Huckabee’s other main purpose is to horribly betray the trust placed in him by good, but misguided evangelical voters and lead them astray to dilute their influence in the primary election.
