More GOP Kabuki theater.
The scumbag from Kentucky lied when he said if Reid went nuclear, the GOP would extend it to legislation as well when they took control.
The Washingtonians must be dealt with, it’s us out here versus them on the Potomac.
Neither party is a friend of the American taxpayer.

I know, but I think it was important for them to be on the record for this since they both want to be Commander in Chief.
12 Republicans voted NO, 3 didn’t vote.
1 Democrat didn’t vote, rest all voted NO.
We know how they would've voted had they been there. What's more, we know it wouldn't have made any difference to the outcome whatsoever. If it had, they'd have been there.
There will be other votes.
I assume they’re both on the campaign trail. Personally I think they had an obligation to be there, as all Senate Iran votes are taking place over a 3 day period (today thru Thursday).
There was a 60 vote threshold for the vote so it was far from close, but still if only 1 of the 3 Republicans who didn’t vote did, we wouldn’t be looking at an ugly 3 in the tens column.
Sorry but my standard is higher than that for presidential candidates.
It was an important vote. They should be on the record.
And, if they believed it was more important for their electoral prospects to be where they are as opposed to casting a meaningless vote in the Senate, I'm good with that.
Meaningless to the outcome, but important symbolically. I’ll bet if one had voted but not the other, the voting senator’s camp would be all over the other one. Other than that at this point it’s too early for me to give a damn about their electoral prospects. I want them to do their job which includes getting their vote on the record so that there’s no room for equivocation later when electoral prospects actually are in play. Maybe somebody who follows these candidates obsessively can tell us where they were and what they were doing today.
On the other hand, I know damn good and well how Cruz would've voted. And I trust him to know best whether he should've been in the Senate or wherever he happens to be.
Which is to say, while you're uncomfortable with the situation, I'm comfortable as can be.
I agree. This is an important vote to be ‘on the record’ for. This Iran deal is critical and, perhaps, deadly. We’ll be wasting more blood and treasure to fix it in the near future.
The Clinton/Obama foreign policy failures don’t bode well for the deal.
Thanks, Dave. I was only interested in which Republicans voted yes. We know the commie Democrats did.
Oops. I meant voted “no,” not “yes.” I had it backward, but I’m sure you know what I meant. :-)
Corker is a RINO of the nth degree. This deal virtually assures Obama will get his way and give Iran whatever they want.
i care where both of them were and what they were doing. I’m not comfortable as can be with any politician. That’s because I’m not a ‘bot for any of them.
WHY would he do this? why is he lying to us? where is he from and what is his evil intention. It IS evil. WTH man. WHY DO WE VOTE?
dems never do this crap. geez!!! I’m angry.
Is Cruz the last honest man left? and why is he supporting the free trade agreement? please tell e there’s a good reason so my heart isn’t broken.
