It’s not a reassurance it’s a fact. So it would be a big problem to let this tiny number of people stay here longer while their home country is in rubble?

More than likely many Nepalis won’t take advantage of the extensions because they will want to get back and help their families. Also likely is that many Nepalis whose visas are still in effect will want to go home early for the same reason. That’s human nature which would be especially true of these people.

Throwing in the “open borders” theme was a nice Alinsky touch. Your agenda is showing.
