I would also mention that God burned homosexuals to death in Sodom and Gomorrah, and in another instance the Tribes of Israel got together and virtually wiped out the tribe of Benjamin because of a bunch of homosexual townsmen.
People seem to forget that this stuff was not regarded as "just another life style choice", it was looked at as an infection.

In my opinion Cruz touches on a core issue here that many overlook.
The trend is for more common law marriages. There isn’t any court documentation. The children of these relationships are easier to fall through the system. Society is not served well by this.
The family unit is the corner stone of this nation. The Left knows this. If they can destroy the family, there will be more dependents on Leftist government programs. We’ve seen them attack the family at will, with fervor.
The reason this issue is important, is because it reveals Cruz to be an uncommon man. He is a Conservative at his core.
His core beliefs are such, that he instinctively defends sound values each step of the way.
I quibble with him on one issue right now, and it does disturb me, but at the end of the day, Ted Cruz is the only man out there that is a die hard Conservative at his core.
He sees things in black and white. He knows there is a right and a wrong. He knows that Christian values and good morals are the most important resources in our nation.
Supporters of other candidates will not see the value in Ted. They’ll be convinced their candidate is no different. That says more about them than it does Ted.

THIS is how a republican candidate responds to ridiculous gotcha questions from the corrupt leftwing mainstream media.

Well, I have bad news and worse news:
The bad news: You’d be surprised how many 21st Century Christians think same-sex marriage is o.k. And, they say let the woman who has an abortion work it out with Jesus. Why these attitudes? Because many of them have gay kids and the ones with straight kids know that their kids have been a player in an abortion.
The worse news: They ones mentioned above are the professing Christians who vote. The “good” Christians don’t want to dirty their hands with politics. Besides, their candidate didn’t win the nomination. So, they just stay home and wait for Jesus to come.
I’ve been a “church person” for 47 years. I know church people, and, I’m telling you the truth.
