INDIA: WE WON’T BOW TO WESTERN PRESSURE ON CO2 EMISSIONS
Breitbart ^ | 13 Apr 2015 | by DANNY LEE WESTON

ndia’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has indicated that he will not submit to Western pressure on cutting CO2 emissions.

In the lengthy run up to the international climate conference (‘COP21’) in Paris later this year, Modi’s comments will be sure to cause consternation amongst climate campaigners. Indeed, since his investiture last May last year, the Guardian has expressed concern that he might be (gasp!) a climate sceptic.

As the third largest CO2 emitter behind China (1st) and the U.S. (2nd), climate negotiators are keen to secure some kind of meaningful agreement to reductions from India at the Paris negotiations. However, Modi’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has pursued a development agenda that is at odds with Western hand-wringing. The BJP has opened up the nation’s coal mining industry in a bid to meet domestic demand. It has also taken on environmentalist groups such as Greenpeace, regarding the latter as inimically hostile to India’s economic success.

As India is a land with many gods, many religions, and many sects of all kinds, the global warming cultists must appear to him like just one of many such groups among thousands.

Any sacrifice we make to lessen our CO2 emissions will more than be made up by China and India’s increasing industrialization. There simply is no way to lower CO2 from the United States.

Good for India. Don't buy into the hoax!

No smoking hot spot

1. The greenhouse signature is missing. We have been looking and measuring for years, and cannot find it.

Each possible cause of global warming has a different pattern of where in the planet the warming occurs first and the most. The signature of an increased greenhouse effect is a hot spot about 10km up in the atmosphere over the tropics. We have been measuring the atmosphere for decades using radiosondes: weather balloons with thermometers that radio back the temperature as the balloon ascends through the atmosphere. They show no hot spot. Whatsoever.

If there is no hot spot then an increased greenhouse effect is not the cause of global warming. So we know for sure that carbon emissions are not a significant cause of the global warming. If we had found the greenhouse signature then I would be an alarmist again.

Agreed. And Geesh, we're second now to China? Is there anything Obama has kept the U.S. first in?

All cutting our carbon emissions will do is give China more ways to get ahead and hinder our production capacity. Period.

India is not going along with the hoax—good for them. Why should they be deprived prosperity because the envirowackos say they must bow down to their wishes? Carbon dioxide is not a “greenhouse gas.” Put more CO2 in a greenhouse and you have more photosynthesis, more growth, and the CO2 is lessened. All things being equal, available, the limiting factor in photosynthesis is carbon dioxide. It is not about “global warming, global cooling, climate change , climate anything.” It is about GOVERNMENT CONTROL. Period.

Nothing wrong, we can now have a valid excuse to ship all the climate protesters from the USA to china, Just imagine all the non-polluted air breathing, free range, vegan eating, hippie’s organs that will really boost china’s illegal organ harvesting numbers....

Per data from the EPA, CO2 emissions in the United States in 2012 dropped to the level of 1992-- a twenty year low. Projections are for this to continue.

And it will do nothing to decrease CO2 levels worldwide.

The CO2 hoax will put those nations who fall for it behind in their industrial capability. This includes food production. We are setting our future generations up for a lower standard of living where our industrial capability no longer competes on the world market.

Pretty soon the air around Mumbai will look like the air around Beijing. And won't that be special?

That’s the real problem, isn’t it? The harmless CO2 is just a by- or co-product of the immense pollution they’re engaging in - which IS (locally) harmful.

My question is: If carbon dioxide is heavier than air, how’s it supposed to get up there in the first place?
