An Action 2 News reporter on the scene says a credible threat to safety has interrupted a hearing in the Senate Labor Committee about a right-to-work bill.
Police escorted the senators out of the chamber immediately after they vote 3-1 to approve the bill.
The hearing was halted 30 minutes before public comment was supposed to end.

obumbles stands with the purple shirts and all like minded willing to fight to take America down and out.
American unions have been taken over by thugs and criminals. Unions are a danger to America.
A credible threat. I wonder if it was an SEIU goon perhaps with a gun.
Only conservatives (”right wing extremists” are the enemy of the state.
For those who wonder why Walker has been careful some topics, this is why.
Labor unions in WI and MN can be very militant.
Many decades ago I worked for one and members would openly brag about slashing tires and threatening non-union workers.
I think it’s time to fight union thuggery with jacketed hollow points now.
Whenever one suspects that union thugs will show up at events, it would be idiotic not to have an anti-goon squad looking out for the trouble makers. The thugs need to be met with force or our freedoms will continue to perish.
You see, this same president was cutting deals with HR behind the unions back and in a members meeting blustered that if you didn't like it, get 30 signatures and I'll quit.
Guess who had a petition with 30 signatures.
Only liberals could come up with the phrase “Safety Threat”
I guess thats what they call it when their wonderful communists bretherin pull the fire alarm.
I am by no means advocating any violence but I am wondering when America will hit its breaking point.
Wow those thug unions are dangerous in WI. Let them try that in a Right To Work Red State. Bring it Own.
No they prefer to picket at 80 something year old parents of Scott Walker and intimidate through their riots disguised as peaceful protests.
60 years or more ago
Wow that tops my story of being invited to communist meetings by my union shop steward.
At the time, I was a young man, working full time and going to school full time. The job was in defense where we built rockets and worked with the rocket fuel. I mainly worked on the Titan IV.
Certainly an odd combo being a college educated republican in a blue collar union world.
The last position I held was in a final assembly area on the night shift. I met and worked with the shop steward who was a tenacious 100lb woman who took a lot of grief about working in a 'man's' job.
One day, I arrived at work and was told she was killed in an auto accident as a designated driver driving her sister home.
I took on the role of union steward and fought the way she did. That is why at the same time the union president was threatening to kill me, the head of HR was threatening to fire me for allegedly obtaining the signatures on company time.
Being the smart son of a bitch that I am, I had a proxy physically get the signatures for me leaving me bullet proof.
So, there I was face to face with a crazy Viet Nam vet threatening to kill me and he meant it.
YOLO!!!!
Let’s face it; OBAMA HATES AMERICA!
>>That’s the first thing to pop into my head too.<<
The first thing I thought was that the GOP probably pulled one over on the opponents by claiming a threat so they could get the meeting over with and then get a police escort out of the building in the bargain.
I don’t say that sarcastically, but strategically, by the way. Pass the bill in committee and get the hell out before the protesters block the halls.
As for Walker’s reluctance to lead the charge on this bill, again, political planning is probably behind that decision. He knew it was going to be brought up, but with national unions starting to get frustrated with Obama (Keystone/coal industry), he’s better off not leading the charge if he’s going to run for President, a charge that was going to happen with or without him given the makeup of the current legislature.
Meanwhile all the national media clowns are going, “What? Wisconsin’s passing a Right-to-Work bill? Why didn’t Walker tell us?”
Answer: You didn’t ask, because it wasn’t on the list of “gotcha” questions you were handed by your coordinators.
Leftist Union Terror Threat?
