Both the White House and illegal immigrants said Tuesday that they would not be swayed by a federal judges decision in Texas halting President Obamas deportation amnesty as overstepping the bounds of his powers.
Within hours of the decision, immigrants had said they would still prepare to apply for the program and the White House was vowing to appeal the ruling that accused Mr. Obama of granting benefits and privileges to people that the law says should be deported.
In a ruling late Monday, Judge Andrew S. Hanen said Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson was not just rewriting the laws; he is creating them from scratch when he wrote the amnesty, which could have granted tentative legal status, work permits and Social Security numbers to more than 4 million illegal immigrants. Judge Hanen issued an injunction halting the program until he can hold a full trial. The administration was poised to start accepting amnesty applications Wednesday, but it found itself scrambling to regroup while insisting it will eventually win the court fight.
On Capitol Hill, Republicans said now that a judge has ruled the presidents actions are likely illegal, Democrats should stop filibustering the Homeland Security spending bill, which they have been blocking as part of their defense of Mr. Obamas immigration plans.
Judge Hanens 123-page ruling doesnt mean any of the illegal immigrants who would have been approved for the amnesty will be deported. The judge said Mr. Obama does have the discretion to decide whom to deport given the resources he has, and the president has said he wont deport longtime illegal immigrants without serious criminal records.

The states are close already.
Were we all well heeled and able to Protest at the drop of a hat....I think most of us would have been doing so on a nearly daily basis since this stinking administration crawled out from under that rock...
Given the economic realities that preclude our having all the “free time” in the world to oppose this gaggle of punks shenanigans we’re going to have to use several other avenues to get our points across.
“...immigrants refused to be stopped by court decision”
In other words, illegals walking across the border and laying down the law. It is the same concept as someone breaking and entering and claiming ownership. Obama’s manhood is not offended.
He has the law on his side. He said so. To him, that’s the end of the story.
Ted Cruz called it counterfeiting last night.
Le Roi IS the law. Illegal invaders, muslim caliphate, destroy Israel and Jews, end fossil energy, nationalization of healthcare, giving Iran the bomb — all unlawful.
Hmmm...
So, he’s defying the law, openly.
I guess he’s leading by example.
States? Are you going to step up?
WHICH ‘Law’? The one HE (re)wrote or the underlings?
“Judge Hanen has made his decision. Now let him enforce it.”
Ironic that this famous quote (paraphrased) came from the founder of the democrat party and accompanied one of the most unjust acts ever perpetrated by the US Government—the forcible relocation of the Cherokee nation from Georgia to Oklahoma.
Obama c$$ps on the Constitution as did the founder of his party.
I'd like to see him say that from a jail cell
Unless and until the half breed is stopped, it is going to get worse. He defied the courts over resuming oil drilling in the Gulf, and nobody did anything. He defied Congress in Benghazi, Fast and Furious and IRS targeting, and nobody did anything.
Now he is defying a federal judge on immigration, and nobody is doing anything.
Don’t expect anyone in Versailles on the Potomac to do anything either. They are all complicit in the treason. The perverts, liars and thieves that infest OUR government should be making little rocks out of big ones and being Big Bubba’s toy.
Massive civil disobedience, along the lines of a nationwide walkout, will get their attention. Then, and only then, can we start to do something.
What a (fine) example this idiot sets for our children of America...how shameful is and has been his actions...
I feel so bad that all those people who voted for this idiot, they have to be so misinformed...”change coming to America” right, big change, more people out of work, illegals coming in and taking their jobs, (course most of them sit at home on food stamps, and an bambaboy phone), fine change for America...how sickening to see the hatred and the despair of most of the American people, all because of a ‘cry-baby, titty mouth’.....
A lawless federal govt is only half of the problem the other half are the ones who hire them.
I concur!
“States? Are you going to step up?”
Have spoken to my own congressman Louie Gohmert to impeach Obama.
have helped payroll and get elected a bunch of conservatives here in Texas.
What have you done?
HISTORY REPEATS ISELF
With over 92 million Americans out of the work force, Obama open the gates to 15 millions new illegal immigrants.
We already have MEXIFORNIA and Obama is advancing the Mexican "Reconquista of U.S. Very tough times are coming for Black America.
"Those who ignore history are damned to repeat it."
The KKK party against Blacks...Obama is taking out from the Blacks to give it to the illegal migrants.
REAL HOME OF RACISM IS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY
ON THIS DAY IN 1965 Angry Democrats with Billy Clubs & Dogs Attacked Selma Civil Rights Marchers
Gateway Pundit ^ | 03/07/2015 | staff
On this day in 1965, state police under the command of the Democrat Governor, George Wallace, attacked African-Americans who were demonstrating for voting rights in Selma, Alabama. The rampaging Democrats used billy clubs and tear gas and dogs in their Bloody Sunday assault.
A Republican-appointed federal judge, Frank Johnson, soon ruled in favor of the demonstrators, enabling them to complete their march two weeks later.
The epitome of the slavery party: West Virginia's Democratic United States Senator Robert C. Byrd was a recruiter for the Klan while in his 20s and 30s, rising to the title of Kleagle and Exalted Cyclops of his local chapter.
