So, we COULD just call it the Islamic State, but we have boldly decided to adopt the name which is considered more sensitive to Muslim sensibilities. Daesh it is, then.

“Islamic State” has the advantage of being what they call themselves and being extremely accurate.
It is politically harmful to one-worlder-libs who cannot stand that Islam (the anti-West) is so nasty. They want Islam as their ally against the West, but Islamic State is such a difficult ally to admit.
So, they won’t call Islamic State by its real name.
Kerry should demand that his ISIS guys start calling him Hanoi Boi.

As I understand this, Daesh is a slur. The militant muzzie groups do not like this term, so when leaders like John Kerry and others use it; they basically want to piss off the terrorists.
