A strange dynamic considering that the BBC is a total left wing organization and the vast majority of Jews are leftist.
You would think the two would be natural allies.
I'm not so sure this is true. The majority of Jews in Israel vote for conservative/moderate candidates, not left-wing parties. In the US, the majority seem to support democrats, but much of this is due to historical and cultural affinities, not necessarily political philosophy. Many people vote a certain way because their family and friends do so, not out of any firmly held principles.
In my studies and observations, I have noted that the proportion of Jews who are conservative seems to be increasing year by year. While there are still, lamentably, many leftist Jews, I doubt that they are the "vast majority."
