I do seeing it headed in that direction. I am glad, too, that these teenagers can have a normal existence with this new technology/medical procedure.

Amazing what we can do nowadays! Will be able to get to full-grown limbs for injured war vets? That’s what I’d like to see.

Having recently attended a lecture from a prominent researcher in the field, the state of the art is that they can grow any one part (nerve, skin, etc.) but not a complex assembly of parts - like a limb. It’s what they are working on now - but they don’t know how to do it yet.
