If you had paid attention, you would have seen that I did not have the time or inclination to write a definitive list of laws.
But, as long as you threw it out there, while I am not in the least a proponent of gay marriage, I think government should get out of the marriage business altogether.
Marriage is a church institution and none of government’s business. I’m fine if the government has no stance on it at all. The only reason it is an issue is that a bunch of people want government benefits under the umbrella of “marriage”. If there were no economic incentive, they wouldn’t be bothering with it.
Is that was God created marriage for? To get tax breaks? I kind of doubt it.
