The Hebrew Prophet Ezekiel prophesied 2500 years ago that that Russia (land to the extreme north of Israel) in the last days will make one last push to control world events. In Ezekiel 38-39, he predicted that Russia (Magog) and their leader (Gog), would lead a coalition invasion of Israel and Palestine. Among the nations that Gog would muster are the following; Iran (Persia), Turkey, Trans-caucus States, Sudan, and Libya.

Ezekiel goes on to predict that this invasion will be disastrous for Russia and its coalition nations. G-d himself shall send earthquakes, pestilence, and other natural disasters causing all the coalition nations to fight each other until all are almost destroyed...

I never imagined we could have come to this. But then again, I never imagined America could have elected an 0bama either.
