The Kremlin is seeking clarifications from Israel regarding the air strikes that hit Syria on Sunday reportedly destroying Russian-made arms bound for Hezbollah, the DPA news agency reported on Monday. Israel has not officially acknowledged carrying out the attack, though that did not stop Iran and Syria from placing blame on Jerusalem.
"Moscow is deeply worried by this dangerous development, the circumstances of which demand an explanation," a Foreign Ministry spokesman in Moscow is quoted as saying...

As the Middle East turns to Russia and Putin for stability given America's (and NATO's) feckless foreign policy, Russia is becoming the "world's policeman" in the Middle East and Mediterranean.
The Bible Predicts that that Russia in the last days will make one last push to control world events. The prophet Ezekiel, in Ezekiel 38-39, predicted 2500 years ago that the country to the extreme north of Israel, Magog, would lead a coalition invasion of Israel and Palestine. The coalition would be led by a strong ruler who Ezekiel called Gog (Putin is a good candidate with his 80% approval rating). Among the nations that Gog would muster are the following; Iran, Turkey, Trans-caucus States, Sudan, and Libya.
Ezekiel goes on to predict that this invasion will be disastrous for Russia and its coalition nations. G-d himself shall send earthquakes, pestilence, and other natural disasters causing all the coalition nations to fight each other until all are almost destroyed...

The Kremlin is seeking clarifications from Israel.... Your clients are sending your hardware over to Hezbollah. You either need to acknowledge you're OK with it or STFU.

If the trucks were driven into a war zone, you gotta expect them to get damaged, right?

At least that would be good news for a change.

“Explanation? Sure. Syria has a bigger problem right now with ISIS. Sending them arms to pass on to the Hezzies to attack us isn’t going to fly. We understand Syria is your ally and you have been supplying them with arms against us for the last 60 years. However, ISIS is the biggest threat to both Syria and sooner or later Russia.”

Wouldn’t it have been more convincing and wouldn’t your theory be on more solid ground if Ezekiel had called Magog Russia and Gog Putin?

Good question. You have to understand the Ancient names of these places (not anglicized names), and the history of these places, in order to understand the prophecy. Example:
Ezekiel 38 mentions "Gog of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal" (Ezek 38:2). Meshech was the ancient area of Moscow, Tubal is the area of Tobolsk, Russia.
Famous Jewish historian, Josephus, identified the offspring of Magog as the Scythians, a name used in antiquity for peoples north of the Black Sea.[1] According to him, the Greeks called Scythia Magogia (Ant., bk. I, 6). An alternate identification derived from an examination of the order in which tribal names are listed in Ezekiel 38
That said, there has never been an attack on Israel by the confederacy of nations listed in Ezekiel 38. Which tells us that it may be coming soon (given current events)...
