During the Republican Governors Association conference on Wednesday, Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd spent more than half of an hour-long panel discussion grilling several GOP governors on illegal immigration and President Obama's upcoming executive order to grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens. The Republicans pushed back hard against the NBC host.
Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal called him out: "We have an hour. We've now spent 30 minutes talking about the President breaking the law tomorrow....I'd like to talk about energy, I'd like to talk about education." Minutes later, after Todd continued to harp on the issue, Texas Governor Rick Perry remarked: "Here's what I'm thinking: You will probably not be invited to do a moderation for a presidential debate." That prompted laughter and applause from the audience.
Ohio Governor John Kasich added: "One of my friends said, 'Why would they have Chuck Todd and not George Will? I mean, what's the story with this?'"

It’s about time Republicans started confronting the obvious bias the media whores have.
I’m not a big Newt Gingrich fan, but he was very good at going on the attack with the liberal media.
no one can blame us for insisting — absolutely INSISTING — on final veto power on any presidential debate moderator after the sh!t cramdy crowlady pulled in 2012.
. . . and george stepan-antelope (whatever) turned an entire republican primary debate into an obsession about contraception.
one of the candidates should have told george to get his mind out of everyone’s underpants. it was just creepy.
She couldn’t have done it without Willard helping her...
I understand that we all hated mittens, but it’s absurd to think that romneny helped cramdy buttram him in that debate.
Screw the “National” debate format. Pubbies buy the time for your party, bring your candidates forward and let them present their policies. For effect, put an empty Marxist/Progressive/Democrat chair on the stage.
Where was the Romney who managed to attack and destroy the Conservative GOP nominees ???
Rick's my pick.
That was a pretty good dig on Chuck Toad by Perry.
or better yet, actually have CONSERVATIVES moderate!
I would like to see a debate moderated by Rush.
I’d prefer to see ALL of these R Govs discussing what they’re going to do, together, to stop 0bola’s amnesty....rather than who is/isn’t going to moderate the next Pubbie Prez debate.
What is their immediate action plan?
CLASSIC: Newt Gingrich hands Juan Williams his a** at the South Carolina GOP Primary Debate
One of the few times Romney won points with me. He was puzzled why this line of questioning on an issue nobody was talking about was being asked in the first place and pursued so aggressively, and he said so directly.
Of course we now know that the impartial moderator was teeing up the first shot in the "war on women" campaign, thus proving forevermore (if there was any doubt) that he remains a dedicated dem operative.
1) Hate: No we didn't.
2) Help: Yes he did.
Wolf Blitzer was masterful moderating the Heritage/AEI-sponsored and DAR-hosted 2012 primary debate. Steffi was a prick and Candy was a whore. Seems like Chuck Todd would be a hybrid of those two.
Its a shame he had to go moonbeam on us during the primaries.
My choice for the Republican debates would be Ingraham, Kelly and Greta.
And for the Presidential debate, the rule is the station with the most prime time viewers gets the debates.
it took them long enough to get a clue
