That is true on a macro scale. What I was stating was that "very limited" legal immigration for the "most talented" is a positive, and will improve the competitive nature of the United States in a competitive world by having the best talent.

BS catfish technology is career like any other. You can target any profession and destroy the wage base with importation of workers in that field. The laws of supply and demand work if they are let work. If there are high wages in profession A then the solution is NOT importation, but let Americans here train themselves in Profession A.
