Sens. Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) and Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) embraced a wan-looking Sen. Kay Hagan (D-N.C.), who Democrats thought would pull out a win last week. Sen. Mark Begich (D-Alaska), another losing incumbent, kept his arms firmly folded across his chest as he immersed himself in serious conversation with sympathetic Democratic colleagues.
Let's make laughter an emotion.

He and Schumer sat down in one of the chambers back rows, drawing two chairs closely together, to discuss something. They were probably discussing the merits of using pistols vs. poison, until they remembered that Hitler used both.

“One of the most visibly shaken senators was Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) who will end his eight-year reign as majority leader after this year.”
Eight years ago everything was going along pretty good. Then Harry came and boom! Financial crisis.

Kay Hagan getting her comeuppance was especially fun for me.
She was just a Wake County hack that participated in all of the corruption of Obama’s regime.

What a pathetic article from the Hill. Do these writers even bother proof reading their articles? We all make mistakes, but these “professional journalists” should know how to do this correctly. “He entered the chamber somewhat bashfully scratching his head but then smiled at pointed at fellow centrist Sen. Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.).”
Hey, get a life and I have no tears for these scoundrels. Landreau, your time is coming Miss. Piggy, and you know it.

"He [Reid] and Schumer sat down in one of the chambers back rows, drawing two chairs closely together, to discuss something." Betcha dollars to donuts they were discussing who's really to blame for their tumble from power, and what they're going to do about him.

Yeah. I remember all the sad stories like this when the Dems took both houses of Congress from the Republicans in '06.
Oh, wait, no I don't. Never mind.
