It sure is a dilemma for them. I mean, having to endorse and encourage a higher minimum wage to get low information voters on the team, and then have the problem of how to keep a cheap illegal workforce while at the same time trying to get THEM legalized so they can vote and THEN they would have to deal with new former-illegals-now-legal wanting that same minimum wage.

I’ll tell you it is a vicious cycle. Those Democrats really have a tough time keeping all the different promises in line. Sucks to be them.

The reason Obama won't release the funds ($250 mil) is because Snyder won't give $100 million of it to the completely unrelated Detroit pension funds.

Canada is paying the total cost of the bridge and hiring Americans for construction. They've already started construction and the clearing of land on this side of the bridge has already started. Basically, Obama is insulting Canada and punishing Michigan for thwarting his will.

At the same time median family income is down 8% since the Prince arrived while the Buffetts and Gates of the world have seen the net worth soar.
