Threat of lawsuit, Obama thuggery, or both.
Give it a week and the quarantines will all be discontinued.

Christie buckles ...
She didnt want to be there. She made that clear from the beginning, Mr. Christie said.
Its always been about her condition. And if her condition permits release, then we will work with the state officials in Maine to make sure she could go home, he said. Our preference always is to quarantine people in their homes.

If they think that this will shut her up, they are mistaken. She’s a true hero in her own mind and I predict will break her own quarantine to go out for pizza or soup or something.

I sure don't want ebola, but a mandatory two-week quarantine wouldn't be a bad thing. Just give me Netflix and a good pile of books.
I'd prefer to quarantine somewhere warmer though, like Aruba or Belize. And I'll need cigars.

Bloomberg just ran a piece on this and the doc they interviewed was towing the cdc line. Kept saying we can’t stigmatize people going to Africa because that is the raging fire and it needs to be fought and a few embers landing here are nothing to worry about. I am thinking, some fires just need people to stand back and burn themselves out. The doc referred to the folks traveling to Africa as heroes. I am not sure I would call them that, but I would not think a hero would disregard public safety on their return like these folks do.

The woman showed a fever of 101 degrees F. The nurse claimed she was just overheated from the flight. That explanation doesn’t fly.
