I don’t know about the “gasses” but I think the glasses are supposed to make her look like Ashleigh Banfield, who is far from smart.....

I had another thought on the glasses. Seems the big glasses have become very popular and I believe it was because of Sara Palin. Suddenly everyone wants to look like her (or try).

Now you notice that Sara has gone to smaller glasses and some without frames, won't be long before everyone will be wearing those to mimic the very gal they hate.
