With the death of Thomas Eric Duncan, news of a second possible case of Ebola in the Dallas area and worries that dogs and other animals could transmit Ebola, fears of a deadly epidemic in the United States are bound to accelerate.
And what is being said is only the obvious part of the psychological virus (call it "Ebolophobia") that is spreading;
Part of the preventive health strategy to ...should be a reliable flow of information and bold policy from the Obama administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. But, already, their response lacks the necessary element of steady stewardship. And that’s because of President Obama’s continuing reticence to put America first.
Here’s an example: A travel ban on countries like Liberia, where Ebola is epidemic, makes sense as a technique to keep the virus from accelerating here.
But President Obama is very sensitive to being defined in any way by the borders of this country.
I believe the president may literally believe we should suffer along with less fortunate nations. And if he does, that is a very dangerous psychological stance from which to confront Ebola.
Let me say this plainly, as a psychiatrist who has studied this president only from a distance: In order for President Obama to keep thinking of himself as the leader of the world — and not just the free world — it may be that our boundaries must remain porous, allowing illegal immigrants and, potentially, even diseases to flow through them.
The correct stance against Ebola is a medical-military one that replicates fighting a war in which the enemy has already come ashore and attacked a city — in this case, Dallas.
The borders should be sealed to travelers who have visited nations affected by Ebola in the last 30 days.

That pretty much explains everything Obola does.
I've been re-reading some of William Shirer's works from his time in Nazi Germany, and thinking the same thing. There's many parallels, and some (so far, fortunately) differences.
The out and out lying and behind the scenes manipulation; the sycophantic, deluded followers; the use and abuse of the media; the obscure, inconsistent philosophy, the outrageous narcissim--all the same. Differences so far are in the degree of control--Hitler's was total pretty quickly; the degree of internal violence (the FEMA camps are unused); the worship of the military (Obama thinks its at best a social service). On the other hand, I'm convinced Obama is an ardent if sneaky Muslim; Hitler's religion, if we can call it that, was a pagan/racial mishmash.

He certainly has no problem putting himself first though. This a key to understanding the things he does....its all about him all the time. He’s not pres to lead this country or make policy. He’s in the WH simply to enrich himself and have fun. We dont even know the half of it b/c the media is covering for him.
Once again it makes you wonder about all of the weapons and ammo the government agencies stocked on.

OR, if for whatever psycho reason you can’t or won’t do THAT, for heavens sake at least set up quarantine stations and impose a 30 day quarantine. You know, like Ellis Island?

the simpler analysis is simply that the President is a Moslem who has managed to become the ruler of a hated Infidel nation that has hindered the glorious triumph of Islam and acts accordingly.

All the psychological delusional parallels are there, BUT there is one crucial difference. If you find a history book from the 1930s you read about examples of young people inspired by the Leader/Fuhrer willingly offering to die for him (i.e. a literal self-sacrifice with respect to the mystical occult/quasi-religious component). We do not yet see this with Obama’s followers.
You’re right, we’re not quite there yet, and we may never be there (I hope).
However, his more dedicated followers may not be explicitly willing to die violently, but they’re happy to follow stupid policies which increase their chances of death, such as open borders without public health considerations, or condoning Islamists as an understandable reaction to the West (the Harvard student’s speech the other day comes to mind).
We do not yet see this with Obama’s followers.

I accept this as the truth and that is one reason Obamna should be removed from office. The guy is unhinged.
A narcissistic personality disorder is a very dangerous thing.
It would enable an in-the-spotlight national leader to moan a bit about a beheading in one breath, and then turn away and immediately don a golf shirt and yuk it up on the golf course.
I believe that Obama lacks the ability to have empathy for others. A trait of a Sociopath. I also believe he has no intention of leaving office in 2016 if he doesn’t have to.
It’s not that he thinks we should be equal in suffering.
True narcissists want people to suffer for not believing in their greatness.
